AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

It is necessary to check the eligibility criteria before applying for AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023. Here are the details:

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • The age of the candidate must be 17 years on or before 31st December 2023.
  • The candidate must have cleared the HSC qualifying exam with minimum eligible marks. The mandatory subjects studied in HSC are Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany and Zoology OR Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology or Mathematics with any other subject
  • The minimum eligible marks in class XII is 35% for OC/BC/BCM/MBC/DNC candidates and at least 35% marks in individual subjects and not less than 40% aggregate marks.
  • For SC/SCA/ST Aspirants – At least 35% of marks in individual subjects and not more than 35% aggregate marks overall.
  • A minimum of 35% marks in English.
  • For Tamil Nadu candidates: Those who have cleared classes VIII to XII in Tamil Nadu can apply without providing the “Domicile Certificate”.
  • Those candidates who have cleared any of Class VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII or their equivalent exam from schools located outside Tamil Nadu may also apply but they need to provide a copy of the “Domicile Certificate”.
  • All candidates who are children of All India Service Tamil Nadu Cadre Officers are eligible to apply.

B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Overseas Citizens of India may also apply if registered under section 7A of the Citizenship Act 1955 (Central Act 57 of 1955).
  • The candidate’s age should be 17 years as of 31.12.2023.
  • The applicant must be possessed with the Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) from Annamalai University or an equivalent university/board.
  • The candidate must have attained at least 50% marks in the first and second-year exams of D. Pharm.

D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates must be Indian.
  • The candidate’s age should be 17 years of age as of 31-12-2023
  • Overseas Citizens of India may also apply if registered under section 7A of the Citizenship Act 1955 (Central Act 57 of 1955).
  • Candidate must have cleared HSC exam or equivalent with the subjects such as Physics and Chemistry, along with Biology / Botany and Zoology / Mathematics.
  • The candidates with B.Sc. Degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics subjects may also apply.

M.Pharm Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be possessed with B. Pharm degree from Annamalai University or an equivalent university with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/SCA/ST categories must acquire passing marks in the B. Pharm course.
  • The age of the applicant should be 17 years of age as of 31.12.2023.
  • Applicants must have cleared HSC examination with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects along with either Mathematics/Biology/Botany & Zoology.
  • Those who have cleared D. Pharm from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India may also apply.
