The university offers different courses and these include the B.Sc, the B.Ed, and the BA courses. At the post-graduation level the university offers other courses that would include M.A, M.Ed, and also the LL.M courses. Those who are interested in applying will have to either apply offline or apply online. The Azim Premji University also offers loan facilities, scholarships, and also assistantships to all the candidates who are deserving.

Azim Premji University Admission 2022 Application Form:

In order to get the application form, you will first have to log in to the official website of the university. There are separate application forms for the various courses. You will have to provide a photocopy of the acknowledgement slip, the photocopy of the application form, the migration certificate, fee payment challan. The application forms for all the separate courses will be available on the website. In order to complete the application procedure, you will first have to register with the email id, the date of birth, the mobile number, etc.

In order to apply offline, all that you will have to do is to download the form from the University website and then fill it up correctly. Then the form along with the challan will have to be downloaded from the website of the university. The form will then have to be sent to the following address:

Azim Premji University Eligibility Criteria

  • This university provides four years of integrated courses in BSc-B.Ed and three years B. Sc and BA courses for three years.
  • It is also necessary for the candidates to successfully complete the class XII examination in the subject and the candidate needs to get a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  • There will be an entrance test organized by the University and the admission will be provided based on the result of the admission test. The English language skills and the quantitative abilities of the candidate will be assessed in the entrance test.
  • During the second semester, the student will be able to select the minor subject. If the candidate wants then he or she can choose the honors degree through the advanced research projects.
  • In order to apply for the BSc-Bed integrated course, for the Life Science and Education course and for the Physical Science and Education course, the candidate will have to pass the class XII examination with Science stream and has to get a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate. The age of the applicant should also not be more than 19 years. The selection of the candidate will be based on the score that he has achieved in the entrance test that is conducted by the University itself.
  • In order to apply for the degree course in Biology and Physics, the candidate will have to successfully complete class XII in the Science stream and have to score a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate. The candidate cannot be more than 19 years old. Again the admission of the candidate will be based on the score that he or she has received during the entrance examination.
  • In order to get admission in BA (Economics) or other Humanities subjects, the candidate will have to score a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and the candidate cannot be more than 19 years old. He or she will have to get 50% marks in the aggregate.
  • If the candidate wants to apply for an MA in Education/Development/Public policy and governance, then it is necessary for the candidate to complete the graduation in the relevant subject. There will be an entrance test and once the candidate is able to pass the entrance test, he or she will have to apply for a personal interview.
  • In order to apply for the M.Ed. the candidate will have to complete graduation with a specialization in Science, Mathematics, Engineering and have to score a minimum of 50% in the aggregate. Along with that, the candidate will also have to have the degrees in B.Ed/ B.Sc-B.Ed/ B.El.Ed along with Optional Mathematics / Science or D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree with 50% marks. The candidate will also have to appear for a written test and a personal interview.
  • If the candidate has to apply for the LL.M in Law and Development, he or she will need a graduation degree with a specialization in law. The degree will have to be completed from a recognized university. The candidate will then have to appear for a written test, interview, or some other test that is equivalent to this.

Exam Pattern:

  • The entrance test for the M.Ed degree will have a total of 60 multiple-choice questions. Along with it, there will also be an essay type of question for a duration of 150 minutes. Part A will have a total of 30 questions that are based on a detailed knowledge in Education and it should also include recommendations and policies. Part B will also have another 30 questions and these will be based on a particular discipline. The candidate will be able to select the subject depending on the post-graduate and the undergraduate degree and also on the teaching subject. In Part C of the test the candidate will have to provide arguments relating to teaching and education. It will be an essay that will have a word limit varying between 500 and 750 words.
  • The examination pattern for the MA and LLM Entrance Test will be a little different. Part A will have a total of 20 questions that will be based on English reading and comprehension skills. There will be 10 questions on reasoning, 20 questions on Quantitative aptitude, and 30 questions on Science and General Awareness. Part II will have one question on the Statement of Purpose. This will be an essay type question and the total word count will be 500 words. There will be 2 hours allocated to complete Part I and 45 minutes to complete Part II.
