To apply for Banasthali Vidyapith Admission 2023, avail of the application form via online or offline mode in the month of March 2023. Candidates must fill in all the details in the application form and upload their latest photographs. Banasthali Vidyapith Admission 2023 Process:

• Admission to the university includes merit and aptitude test. After the aptitude test, the candidate will participate in the counseling round and complete the final admission formalities. Candidates can apply via a national-level entrance examination.

All about Foreign, NRI, NRI Sponsored Admissions:

The seats for Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored candidates are limited in number. The admission against these seats is based on merit and those candidates do not require appearing in the Aptitude Test. The eligibility for Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored candidates will be 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (However, for B.Ed. it is 50%, and for M.Ed. 55%).

For UG Courses:

To apply for undergraduate courses, the candidate must have successfully passed class XII or some equivalent from the recognized board and must have attained at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

For PG Courses:

Candidate must have done graduation from a recognized university/college. In addition to this, the candidate must have attained at least 50% marks in the qualifying Undergraduate degree.

GATE Score: For M.Tech courses, candidates can apply through the GATE scorecard.

For Ph.D. Courses:

To apply for Ph.D. courses, the candidate must have done post-graduation in the respective field from some recognized university/college and attained at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying Postgraduate degree.

About Banasthali University Admission 2023 Aptitude Test:

 Banasthali University Admission 2023 Aptitude Test will be held in the month of June( 1st – 2nd) 2023. It will be conducted by the university only for the candidates selected through their application form. The test will be conducted on different dates for different courses.

Exam Pattern:

M.Sc Biotechnology:

• The exam duration will be 120 minutes
• Total number of questions will be asked 100
• There will be two parts in the paper and the candidate is required to do any one out of two.

M.A. English:

• The duration of the exam will be asked for 150 minutes
• Total marks of the Aptitude test will be 70 marks
• The total marks of viva-voce include 30 marks
• Total marks for admission will be 200

M.A. Music/ Drawing and Painting:

• Admission process for M.A. Music includes Aptitude test and practical performance
• Admission process for M.A. Drawing and Painting includes an only Aptitude test

M.A. Textile designing:

• The duration of the examination will be for an hour
• Total marks – 100

For B.Tech exam:

• The duration of the exam will be for 2 hours 30 minutes.
• The total number of questions will be 100.
• Multiple choice questions will be asked in the paper.
• 1mark will be provided for every correct answer.
• ¼ marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
• Subjects will be Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology with 10 questions each per subject.
• Logical Reasoning will have 20 questions.

• M.Sc Biotechnology will consist of the following syllabus
  • Part A Biology: Biochemistry, Instrumental method of analysis, Cell and molecular biology, Biostatistics, Microbiology, Genetics, and bioinformatics, Ecology and Evolution, Genetic engineering, Immunology, Plant biotechnology, Plant physiology and metabolism, Animal physiology, Animal biotechnology, & metabolism.
  • Part B Chemistry: Energetics and dynamics of chemical reactions, Structure, and Bonding, Acids & base, IUPAC nomenclature of simple organic and inorganic compounds, Aspects of s.p.d.f block elements, Vibrational, Elementary principles and applications of electronic, Common organic reactions and mechanisms, NMR technique to simple structural problems.
• M.A. English will have a syllabus comprised of Creative ability, Literature, and Critical ability.
• M.A. Drawing and Painting will consist of Aptitude.
• M.A. Textile designing will consist of Textile designing aptitude.
• M.A. Music Basic theoretical knowledge of Music, One Slow with tabla, One Fast with table.

Admit Card:

The Admit card for the Aptitude Test will be provided one week prior to the date of the exam. Download the Admit Card from the official website of the Banasthali University 2023 using the online mode. The Admit Card will consist of details such as exam centre, name, roll number, and other details of the candidate. It is a mandatory document to be carried along with a photo ID and a passport size photograph to the exam centre.

Exam Result:

The result of the examination will be released a few days of the Aptitude Test by the university via the official website. The result will be released separately for every course. Candidates will be invited for the counseling session according to the merit list.

Counselling:

Those who successfully qualify the examination will be called for counseling. The counseling will begin in the month of June 2023. Those who are eligible will be called to the counseling venue on the allotted date and time. Candidates should carry their original documents for counseling. The candidate should carry all the required documents along with the certificate to the counseling venue.
