BARC Recruitment 2023: BARC stands for Bhabha Atomic Research Centre is hiring eligible candidates for Scientist Officer Posts via academic programs such as OCES and DGFS. Those who are interested may apply to the posts via online mode. Those who will be selected for the academic programme based on the performance during Gate Score, Screening Test, and Interview will be allotted with the post. The selected candidates will through the one-year orientation course for Engineering Graduates as well as Science Postgraduates for the year 2023 (OCES) commenced at the BARC Training Schools.

Educational Qualification:

• Those who apply for Engineering Disciplines (codes 21-29) must have done B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engineering)/5-year Integrated M.Tech. with at least 60% aggregate marks in one of the engineering subjects. Candidates must possess the valid GATE-2023 or GATE-2022 Score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.
• Those who apply for Fast Reactor Technology-M (FRT-M, code 30) must have done B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engineering)/5-year Integrated M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.
• If you are interested for Fast Reactor Technology-E (FRT-E, code 31) then you must hold a degree B.E. /B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engineering)/5-year Integrated M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering with at least 60%* aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.
• To apply for Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA&QC, code 32), the candidate must have successfully completed B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engineering)/5-year Integrated M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.

Age limit:

Candidates before applying must check the age limit below:

• General category-26 years
• OBC-29 years
• SC/ST- 31 years
• Persons domiciled in the Kashmir division state should be of age 31 years.

BARC Recruitment Application Fee:

• The application fee will be Rs 500/- for male applicants belonging to the General and OBC categories.
• Female candidates belonging to SC/ST category, dependents of Defense Personnel filled in action, and PH will not pay any amount for the application fee.

Exam Pattern:

• The paper will be commenced in the online mode.
• The paper will have 100 questions
• Exam duration will be 2 hours
• Each question will be of 3 marks.
• There will be a deduction of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
• Candidates cannot carry physical calculators in the examination hall. Instead, there will be the availability of virtual calculators at the terminal.

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Selection Process:

After applying for the examination, the candidate should start the preparation of the examination. The written test will take place, which will be proceeded with gate scores, screening test and interviews.

Admit Card:

After applying successfully, the candidate needs to collect the admit card from the official. Download the admit card and keep the print out with you so that you can carry it at the examination centre. In addition to this, the admit card will be kept with you for further reference.

Exam Result:

The announcement of the exam result will be made on a fixed date. Go through the official website to check the result. Those who clear the exam successfully will be called for an interview.
