• Get the registration form for applying for the Bihar CET 2023 test from the official website of BCECE.
• Candidates are required to send a hard copy of the online application with some of the mentioned documents and the application fee to the provided address.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship. Agriculture stream (for Agriculture Engineering) Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.  OR
• Passed min.3 years diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
  (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as mathematics physics engineering drawing, etc. for the student coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme).

Exam Pattern:

• The exam will be conducted in pen and paper (OMR) mode.
• The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes for each subject.
• The question paper will contain objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
• There will be a total of 100 questions in the paper.
• The medium of the paper will be in English and Hindi.
• For every correct answer, 4 marks will be given, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Seat Reservation:

• For the General category, reserved seats are 40%
• Scheduled Caste category, reserved seats are 16%
• For Scheduled Tribe (ST), reserved seats are 1%
• Extremely Backward Class (EBC), reserved seats are 18%
• For Backward Class (BC) reserved seats are 12%
• Reserved Category Girls (RCG), reserved seats are 3%
• For Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) reserved seats are 10%

The result of the BCECE will be announced in the very first week of August 2023 on the official website.
