BCECE LE 2023: It stands for Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Lateral Entry. This examination, which will commence in 2020, will be conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The aim of the examination is to enroll the candidates in the second year of graduation-level engineering, para-medical, and pharmacy degree courses in various reputed colleges in Bihar State. BCECE LE 2023 Application Form:
The application form for BCECE LE 2023 will be released through the official website.
- Fill out all the details in the application form carefully. Make sure to enter details such as email ID, valid contact number, etc. correctly.
- An incomplete form may lead to rejection.
- Upload the documents such as the class X mark sheet, class XII mark sheet, diploma certificates, photographs, and signatures.
- The application fee, once paid, will not be refunded.
Application Fee:
The application fee for the BCECE LE 2023 application form will be Rs. 2200. Payment can be done via online and offline modes. If you are paying via online mode, then use a debit card, credit card, or net banking facility, and for offline mode, use a challan.

BCECE LE 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
For engineering courses:
The candidate must have successfully completed a 3-year diploma in engineering (45% for UR and 40% for BC, EBC, SC, and ST candidates).
- The applicant must have successfully cleared a 2-year diploma in paramedical and a 2-year diploma in pharmacy with at least 35% in English from a university or institute in Bihar.
- There is no age limit to apply.
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Paramedical:
- The applicant’s age must be 18 years old.
- The candidates must have successfully cleared a two-year paramedical diploma course.
- Those who are still appearing in the second year of the paramedical course may also apply.
Pharmacy (necessary things):
- The applicant’s age must be 18 years old.
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The applicant must have passed a 2-year diploma in pharmacy course.
BCECE LE 2023 Exam Pattern:
The entrance examination will be conducted in Online mode. The paper will have multiple-choice questions. The candidate needs to complete the paper in 2 hours and 15 minutes. The candidate will receive 4 marks for every correct answer, and 1 mark will be reduced for every wrong answer.
Engineering Course:
- Mathematics will have 50 questions for 200 marks.
- Engineering mechanics will consist of 50 questions for 200 marks.
- English will consist of 50 questions for 200 marks.
Pharmacy Course:
- For subjects like Pharmaceutics-I, Pharmaceutical Chemistry-I, Pharmacognosy, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry and Clinical Pathology, Health Education, and Community Pharmacy, there will be 50 questions for 200 marks.
- For subjects like Pharmaceutics-II, Pharmaceutical Chemistry-II, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence, Drug Store and Business Management, Hospital Pharmacy, and Clinical Pharmacy, there will be 50 questions for 200 marks.
- For English, there will be 50 questions for 200 marks.
Paramedical Course
- Anatomy and Physiology will consist of 50 questions for 200 marks.
- Pathology, microbiology, and biochemistry will also consist of 50 questions for 200 marks.
- For English, there will be 50 questions for 200 marks.

Admit Card:
The admit card for BCECE LE 2023 will be released via online mode. Candidates need to download the admit card by entering their application number and birth date. The admit card will be generated after the successful submission of the BCECE LE application form. Take a printout of the admit card for further reference. Candidates need to carry a printout of the admit card along with a valid ID proof. The admit card will consist of information such as the candidate’s name, candidate’s photograph, guardian’s name, registration number, exam date, date of birth, exam schedule, exam venue, etc.
BCECE LE 2023 Result:
The result for BCECE LE 2023 will be released online mode. Steps to avail the result are mentioned below:
- Click on the direct link.
- Login by entering their roll number and date of birth.
- Click on the “Show Rank” button to submit all the details.
- After submitting the details, view and download the BCECE LE Rank Card.
- Take a printout of the rank card for future reference.
Merit List:
There will be a release of the merit list via the official website. Those who have successfully cleared the examination will be selected, and their names will be published in the merit list. The merit list will be prepared as per the marks attained in BCECE LE.
