Eligibility Criteria:

• Those who work in Government distinguished universities located in the state of Tamil Nadu with at least 2 years of experience can apply for the course.
• If an applicant has subjects such as Home Science, Political Science, Economics, Commerce, Sociology, Logic and Indian Culture, then they should have studied the same subject at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Candidate must have completed 10 + 2 + 3 or 11+1+3 pattern from the recognized University.
• If a candidate is not competent in class XII exam or PUC but holding 2 years Bachelor Preparatory Program Certificate / 2 years Foundation Course Certificate, 2 years Diploma Course by State Government recognized universities and is capable with 3 years undergraduate degree course are also measured qualified for admission.
• Those who have successfully completed the degree 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern of examination in the following subjects from the known University: Tamil (B.A. / B.Lit.) / Mathematics/ English/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ Applied Physics/ Biochemistry / Zoology/ Botany / Biotechnology/ Environmental Science / History / Microbiology / Geography / Applied Geography / Computer Programs/ Computer Science / Information Technology qualify.

Admission Process:

The admission is based on the performance of applicants in the Entrance Exam conducted by the University and the Communal Reservation quota of the Tamil Nadu Government. In case of a draw in the entrance exam marks, then there will be the order of priority Teaching Experience and marks attained by the basic subject break a tie. Admission will be based on the marks acquired in the basic subjects and the Communal Reservation quota of the Tamil Nadu Government.
