BHU Admission 2023 Application Form:
- The candidate is required to apply for the examination using online more. It is better to move to the main official websites and collect the admission form
- The candidate must make use of the Aadhaar card for filling the application form. However, this card is not required for applicants from Jammu & Kashmir and Meghalaya like states.
- Fill the application form with all the applicable details such as personal as well as academic details
- Scan the signature as well as photograph and upload. Submit them with the application form

BHU Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria for UG:
UG course demands that the candidate must have attained 22 years of age as on 1st July 2023.
- There is an age relaxation of 5 years for those belonging to SC/ST & PH category candidates
- There will be an age relaxation of three years for the upper age limit for those belonging to the OBC category
- Applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks in aggregate while applying for BA (Hons.) Arts
- Applicant must have passed 10+2 or some other equivalent examination with subjects such as Maths/ Financial Markets Management/ Economics/Commerce/Computer Science/Finance/ Vocational courses (connected to Commerce) as one of the subjects. In addition to this, a contender must have acquired at least 50% marks in aggregate while applying for B.Com (Hons.) or B.Com (Hons.)
- Ensure that entrant must have passed 12th or some equivalent Examination with subjects like Physics & Mathematics and anyone from the following- Geology, Chemistry, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, and Geography. Other than this, the candidate must have attained 50% marks in aggregate, if applying for B. Sc (Hons.) Maths Group
- The applicant needs to have successfully passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, or any amongst Geology, Biology, and Geography. Besides this, the candidate must have acquired at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Those who have completed 10+2 or equivalent examinations successfully with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, or any amongst Geology, Biology, and Geography. Candidate must have acquired at least 50% marks in aggregate then only it is applicable to apply for B. Sc (Hons.) Bio Group
- Candidate must have passed BA/ B.Com/B.Sc/Shastri (at least 10+2+3 pattern) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. However, 40% of marks are applicable for SC/ST category candidates. The age limit must 30 years for general category candidates and there will be an age relaxation of 5 years as on July 2023 for others if applying for LLB (Hons.)
BHU Admission 2023 Eligibility for PG Courses:
- The applicant can apply for M.Com if the applicant has passed B.Com (Hons)/ B.Com (Hons)/ B.Com/FMM under 10+2+3 Pattern and acquired at least 50% aggregate marks (this percentage criterion is not applicable for B.Com level)
- Those applying for M.Sc in Zoology, Botany, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Psychology, Geography, Mathematics, and Home Science ensure that candidates must have successfully cleared B.Sc (Hons.)/B.Sc. under 10+2+3 pattern and attained a minimum 50% aggregate marks.
- Those applying for M.Sc in Biochemistry must have cleared B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biochemistry/B.Sc. under 10+2+3 pattern with Biochemistry and attained a minimum 50% aggregate marks.
- Those applying for an MA in Mass Communication must have completed graduation in any of the disciplines under10+2+3 pattern.
- The applicant can apply for MA in English, Hindi, Philosophy, Geography, Urdu, Mathematics, and Home Science if passed those who have passed BA (Hons.)/BA through 10+2+3 pattern and attained minimum 50% aggregate marks (this percentage criterion is not applicable for BA level).
- The applicant can apply for MA in Political Science, Economics, and Sociology, if passed BA (Hons.)/BA/B.Sc (Hons)/B.Sc under 10+2+3 pattern and attained a minimum 50% aggregate marks (this percentage criterion is not applicable for BA/B.Sc level).
- It is important to mark that those applying for LLM, ensure to check out that the applicant must have cleared 3 year LLB degree after graduation under at least a 10+2+3 pattern or must have attained five years LLB under the 10+2+5 pattern.

BHU 2023 Exam Pattern for UG:
- The examination will be commenced in two different shifts like the first shift from 8:00 AM onwards and the second shift will begin from 3:00 p.m. onwards
- The exam will take place in offline mode
- Candidates are free to answer questions in any of the language, either English or Hindi
- The examination duration will be two hours or two and a half hours, depends on the courses
- The candidate is required to answer 150 questions
- The question paper will be comprised of 450 marks
- The candidate will get 3 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark will be reduced for an incorrect answer
BHU 2023 Exam Pattern for PG:
- The exam will commence in three different shifts – 800 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- The exam will be commenced in offline mode
- The candidate is required to go through 120 MCQ
- The time duration for the examination will be 120 minutes
- The question paper will consist of 360 marks in all
- Every correct answer means an addition of 3 marks and the incorrect answer leads to a reduction of 1 mark

Banaras Hindu University (UET/PET) Admit Card:
BHU 2023 Admit Card has been released on August 2023 for PET. For the UET exam, it has been available since August 2023. Acquire the BHU 2023 admit card from the online mode. The candidate is provided with the email and SMS regarding the availability of the admit card. After downloading, the candidate has to paste a passport size photograph in the space provided on the printout of the admit card. The Admit Card will contain the details like candidate’s name, exam center, exam date, roll number, etc.

BHU UET/PET 2023 Answer Key has been released on September 2023. The main website will provide the answer key so that candidates can check the answers. Candidates who are not satisfied with the answers, can challenge the questions/provisional answer key til September 2023. One more thing, that answers are available in the online more in PDF format.
Steps To Download BHU 2023 Answer Key:
- Visit the website of BHU.
- Click on the link of downloading the BHU Answer Key 2023.
- After that Select the subject and faculty.
- The Answer Key will now be displayed on the computer screen in the form of a PDF.
- Now save and download the Answer Key.
BHU Result 2023:
Seek result of BHU 2023 from the main website. To access the results of the reexamination, enter the roll number. The BHU 2020 Result has been announced on September 2023 for PET Exam. Banaras Hindu University will inform you to register an Email ID or Mobile number through SMS about the candidate’s Merit & Marks.
Steps to Check the BHU PET 2023 Result:

- On the home page, click on ‘PET Result 2023’
- Then a new page will open, enter your ‘roll number & ‘date of birth’
- Now, click on the “Search” button.
- The result will display on your computer screen.

Cut off Marks:
After the result is out, a cut off list will be provided for various courses. Candidates who qualified for the BHU Entrance Exam that will be eligible for BHU 2023 Cut Off.
BHU 2023 Counselling:
The Counseling facility is provided for all the UET and PET courses. Download the call letter for appearing for the counseling process. This will be released for shortlisted candidates only. The counseling procedure will be computer-based and admission will be provided according to eligibility, merit, and seats availability
