Bihar B.Ed CET 2024: Bihar B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is a Common Entrance Test, which is conducted by Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga Bihar under Bihar Government every year. Candidates who wish to nurture a career in teaching can pursue a Bachelor of Education or B.Ed from any of the universities in Bihar. Candidates opting for the Bihar BE.d 2024 have to seat for a Common Entrance Test or CET. Aspirants who are already into teaching without any B.Ed degree can also enroll for the distant B.Ed course under the recognized universities of Bihar. Bihar B.Ed Admission 2024 Application Form:

Get all details about the Bihar B.Ed 2024 Application form in the following article. Here are the steps to applying for this exam:

• Candidates need to do online registration on the official website.
• This online registration for 2024 Bihar B.Ed is expected to start from April and continue till May 2024.
• Candidates must have an Aadhar Card to get their registration done. After the online registration, candidates need to pay the fees for the registration.
• Filling up the application form can only be done after the candidate has got his/her 10 digit registration number. They need to enter their date of birth, registration number, and the application fee transaction ID before filling up the form.
• Candidates need to furnish their personal details along with educational qualifications and postal addresses. A passport size photograph and signature should be scanned and submitted in jpg format with the application form.
• Candidates must take a printed copy of this filled application form for further use. They need not have to send the hard copy to the university.

Application Fee:

Fees for the application differ slightly. General candidates and outside Bihar candidates have to pay Rs.1000 as application fees. For SC/ST the amount is Rs.500 and for other reserved categories like BC, WBC, EBC & PWD the fees are Rs.750.The above payments can be made online mode via Credit or Debit card and even through net banking.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

For the distant mode and regular mode, Bihar University follows separate eligibility criteria.

• Bihar University follows different eligibility criteria for Distant Mode and Regular Mode.
• If you are applying in the regular mode, then you must have completed Graduation with 50% aggregate marks. For B.E or B.Tech applicants, it is mandatory to have specialization in Mathematics and Science with minimum 55% marks.
• To apply to Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, applicants must have completed Graduation with Sanskrit as the main subject with an aggregate of 50% marks.

Exam Pattern:

The CET is organized separately for distant and regular candidates. The 2024 CET is expected to commence from June 2024.

• The Exam will be conducted by Offline Mode
• Candidates have to complete the paper in 2 hours.
• The medium of the paper will be English and Hindi
• Bihar B.Ed Entrance Exam 2023 question paper will be Objective-based (Multiple choice questions).
• There will be 120 questions in the Exam.
• The Paper will be 120 marks.
• 1 mark will be awarded for each correct question & no provision of negative marking.

Syllabus:

The Bihar B.Ed entrance exam has the following syllabus.

• General English Comprehension: Reading Comprehension, Antonyms/Synonyms., Idioms & Phrases, Fill in the Blanks, Error Correction, Spelling Error, One-word Substitution
• General Knowledge: Question-related to social Issue, General Science, History, Geography, Polity, Five-year plan, Current Affairs, other Miscellaneous question
• Logical & Analytical Reasoning: Statement and Arguments, Situation Reaction Tests, Cause and Effect, Statement and Courses of Action, Syllogism, Statement and Conclusions, Statement and Assumptions, Deriving Conclusion, Assertion and Reason, Punch lines, Analytical Reasoning

Admit Card:

The admit card for CET will be issued 3 days before the examination takes place. Candidates need to download the admit card by providing their registration number from the official website www.biharcetbed.com. They need to take a printed copy of the downloaded admit card and affix their photo into it. They also need to take a guardian signature with their printed thumb impression on the admit card. Aspirants need to carry double copies of Admit Card to the examination hall as one copy will be taken away by the supervisor.

Answer Key:

The answer key will be revealed after the exams are conducted. The answer key will be announced separately for regular and distant mode candidates on the Bihar B.Ed official website. To download the Bihar B.Ed answer key candidates need to go through the following steps:

• Candidates need to log in to www.bsebportal.com.
• Then just by a click on the Bihar B.Ed CET Answer Key 2024 candidates can have a complete view of the answer key for the examination.
• By downloading the question paper candidates can thus compare their answers easily.

Result and Cutoff:

The university will issue the result via online mode through the official website. To know the result the candidate has to log in with his/her registration number and date of birth. The university will issue the cutoff list concurrently with the results.

The qualifying marks or cut-offs are announced on the official site by the Bihar B.Ed exam.  These cut-off marks do not remain the same every year. Certain factors are responsible for this like the number of candidates applying for the degree, number of successful candidates in that particular year, number of vacancies for the exam, level of question paper, etc.
