Bihar ITICAT Admission 2022: Bihar ITI entrance examination is conducted by the Bihar Combined Competitive Examination Board each year. The candidates who were seeking various admission to the various ITI institutions have to first apply for the ITICAT. There is also an official advertisement provided by the website and before applying, the candidates are recommended to read the advertisement properly. Bihar ITICAT Admission 2022 Application Form:

To fill up the application form, the candidate will have to first fill up the application form that is there on the official website. The candidate needs to read the entire prospectus carefully before they submit the application form. The application form needs to be sent online and you need not send the printout of the form.

Application Fee

• The application fee is Rs.750.
• For the reserved category, the application fee will be Rs.100
• For the disabled, the application fee will be Rs.430.
• The candidate will have to either make an online fee payment or they will have to make the payment through a bank challan in the Canara bank.

Eligibility Criteria:

You can go through the points mentioned below to get a proper understanding of the eligibility criteria for the Bihar ITICAT test:

• The candidate will have to be a citizen of India.
• The parents of the candidate appearing for the examination, have to be permanent residents of Bihar.
• In case the parents of the candidate are not permanent residents of Bihar, they will have to be at least serving under the Government of India or the Central Government or the University of the State of Bihar or a Public undertaking.
• The candidate should have passed the class X or equivalent examination in Mathematics and Science either from the CBSE board or the Bihar Education Board.
• Individually the candidate will have to pass Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• Candidates appearing for the Class X examination may also apply.
• At the time of the counseling, the candidate will have to produce the class X certificate
• A candidate who has not taken up Science might also appear for the examination and he will have to provide the passing certificate.
• For the IT sector also the candidate will have to pass the class X or equivalent examination in the Science subjects.
• After getting through the medical test, the candidate will be considered for the admission test.
• To apply, the candidate will have to be a minimum of 14 years old.
• The candidate will have to at least attend the age of 17 years for the Motor Vehicle trade and also for the Mechanic Tractor.
• There is no upper age limit for the candidates.

Exam Pattern:

• There will only be objective-type questions that he will have to attend to.
• There will be a total of 150 questions that the candidate will have to attend.
• The total marks will be 300.
• The duration of the examination will be for 2 hours 15 minutes.
• For each correct answer, the candidate will be able to get 2 marks. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
• The level of difficulty of the examination is that of class X.

Bihar ITICAT 2022 Syllabus: 

The syllabus for this examination is similar to the topics that are prescribed in the class X examination. It is recommended that the candidate should study every topic thoroughly from the NCERT books. First, the students will have to clear the concepts from the NCERT books and after that, the candidate can study from other book materials.

Admit Card:

The admit card will be released on the official website just a few weeks before the date of the examination. The candidates will have to download the admit card from the website. They will have to fill in the application details to download the admit card. The details that have to be included in the admit card are name, category, gender, roll number, venue of the examination, etc. The candidate must carry the admit card in the examination hall. Till the entire process of admission is over, it is necessary to keep the admit card safely.

Result: 

The candidate will be able to check out the results of the entrance examination on the official website. The merit list will be prepared and released by the authorities on the website. There will be a counseling session after this.  When the candidate goes to attend the counseling session, it is necessary to carry the documents for verification. The documents that the candidate will require during the counseling session are listed below:
