Bihar Polytechnic 2024: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECE) also known as Bihar polytechnic. It is an entrance exam conducted by Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. Bihar Polytechnic 2024 Examination is conducted every year for admission of candidates into various polytechnic courses provided by different colleges/Universities in Bihar. It is a state-level examination. Candidates interested in pursuing courses like polytechnic engineering, Pharmacy, paramedical, office management, etc. need to apply for the exam to be eligible for admission through Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE). Bihar Polytechnic 2024 Application Form:

• The candidates can apply online mode. The conducting authority will make the application form available on the official website from July 2024.
• The candidates need to visit the official website to register themselves: http://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/
• The application form will be filled in 2 parts as Form A & Form B.
• Candidates have to fill the application form providing personal details, educational, academic, communication, and other details.
• Upload the scanned images of the documents asked.
• Submit the application fee.
• Recheck the details and submit the form.
• Take out the print of the application form.

The Candidates will have to submit the application fee through online (debit/credit card & net banking) or offline (Challan) mode.

DCECE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the examination. Only the candidates satisfying the criteria fill the application form. The ineligible candidate will not be allowed to give the examination. The criteria for the Bihar Polytechnic examination are given below.

• Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Domicile: The candidate must belong to the Bihar state. They must have domiciled or their parents are permanent residence of Bihar can also apply for Bihar Polytechnic 2024.

Eligibility for PE courses:

• The candidate should have passed 10^thclass or equivalent with a minimum of 35% marks aggregate (appearing candidate can also apply).

Eligibility for PPE courses:

• The candidate should have passed 10^thclass or equivalent with a minimum of 35% marks aggregate in Science & Mathematics subjects (appearing candidate can also apply).

Eligibility for PMD courses:

• The candidate must have should have passed 10^thclass or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subjects (appearing candidate can also apply).
• The candidate must have completed 15 years of age at the time of applying.

Reservation of Seats:

• For ST candidate- 1%
• For RCG (reserved category girls)- 3%
• BC (Backward Class)- 12%
• For SC candidates- 16%
• For EBC (Extremely Backward Class)- 18%

Exam Pattern:

• Mode of examination: Bihar Polytechnic Exam 2024 will be conducted Offline.
• Duration: 2 Hour 15 Minutes
• Type of Questions: Objective Types (MCQs).
• Total Questions: 90 Questions
• Total Marks: 450 Marks
• Marking Scheme: +5 marks for every right answer.
• Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking

Syllabus:

• The syllabus for different courses will be different.
• The topics of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, General Science, Numerical ability, Hindi, English & GK will be covered in the examination.

Admit Card:

DCECE 2024 admit card will be released in the last week of August. Admit Card will be issued to the candidate by the authority through online mode on the official website. The candidates need to take the printout of the admit card. Admit card is very necessary to enter the examination center. Any candidates not carrying admit Card to the examination hall will be not allowed to give the exam. Admit card contains information such as candidate Roll No., Name, Centre, and Address Etc. candidates need to reach the examination venue on time.

Result:

Bihar Polytechnic 2024 result will declare by September 2024 for all the courses. The result will issue on the official portal the candidates need to log in to the website to check the result they need to enter the registration ID and password. According to marks obtained by a candidate in entrance they will be provided admission into diploma courses. After the declaration of the result, a merit list will be prepared.
