BITS HD 2023: BITS, shortened for Birla Institute of Technology and Science. This is a well-known institution that proffers several post-graduate courses engineering courses in various streams. The institute comprises three prominent institutes such as BITS HYDERABAD, BITS PILANI, & BITS Goa which are known for offering higher education courses and others for while others are for primary education. Almost all engineering graduate aspirants are required to clear the BITS HD 2023 Entrance examination to attain admission. The institute will commence the entrance examination for all different courses. BITS HD Admission 2023 Application Form:

• The BITS Pilani MTech Admission 2023 application form is easily available at the official website www.bitsadmission.com.
• Candidates are required to register themselves by providing the Email ID or phone number.
• As soon as registration is over, fill the application form with details like name, e-mail, gender, date of birth, and basic and academic details in the application form.
• Enter the preferences for the center as well.
• Once you are done with the application form make payment of the application fee.

BITS HD Admission 2023 Fee:

• You can make payment of the application fee using several modes such as credit card, debit card, or Net banking. You can also make cash payments in ICICI bank.
• For those who wish to be considered through GATE/ GPAT score, the application form will be for Rs. 1000/-
• For others the BITS HD 2023 application fee will be Rs. 3300/- (including the fee for BITS HD online test).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates who are undergraduate but not from the engineering stream can apply for the course.
• It is compulsory to have a degree in engineering.
• Candidates who are in Biotechnology stream most possess with good knowledge of Microbiology & Biochemistry
• Those who wish to enroll in chemical engineering, Civil engineering, or Mechanical engineering must possess the degree in the same stream.
• Those who want to seek admission for the Software systems stream must possess a degree in engineering or technology with full preparation.
• Students who want to seek admission for Microelectronics must possess a degree in electronics & instrumentation/ Physics, electrical & electronics, Computer science.
• The candidate must have secured at least 60% marks in the Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Exam Pattern:

The exam will be divided into two papers along with a special paper for programming (Software). Those who are going in for the programming required to appear for the 1st paper and the special paper (do not require to appear for the 2nd paper)

PAPER – 1:

• The exam will be in online mode.
• The time duration will be an hour.
• The paper will have Objective Type Questions.
• The question paper will have four sections- English language skills & Principles of management, Core maths, Computer programming & Core Physics.
• The candidate will get 3 marks for every correct answer and there will deduction of 1 mark for an incorrect answer.

PAPER – 2:

• The exam will be in online mode.
• The time duration will be an hour.
• The paper will consist of 100 questions overall.
• There will be a Special Test for Soft Programming students
• The paper will have Objective Type Questions.
• The question paper will have four sections- English language skills & Principles of management, Core Math’s, Computer programming & Core Physics.
• The candidate will get 3 marks for every correct answer and there will deduction of 1 mark for an incorrect answer.

Syllabus:

The syllabus for the 1st paper consisted of the following topics:

The syllabus for the Second paper consisted of the following topics:

The syllabus for the special paper consisted of special papers:

• Programming in C
• Advanced Programming in C
• Object Orientation and Software Engineering
• Database Systems
• Core Systems

Slot Booking:

• There will be a system known as Slot Booking for the BITS HD examination.
• Students need to book their Slot for the exam time, Date & center.
• The exam center will be provided after booking the slot.
• The process will be done online.

Admit Card:

Exam Admit Card will be provided through the official website and candidates are required to enter the examination center with admit card. This card comprises of following details like the name of the exam, day/date/time of the exam.

Result:

Examination Results can be acquired via online mode. Candidates can download the result from the official website. Those who have appeared in the examination will catch the result score or scorecard for the examination.

Counseling details:

After the announcement of the result, there will be counseling rounds. Candidates can download an admission offer letter via online mode. Those who have appeared on the merit list will seek admissions in the HD programs. Documents needed during counseling are as follows: 10th/High School Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
