BITS MCA 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Those who are willing to appear in the exam are required to check the eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting authority. Candidate must have appeared in any of the given below courses:
- Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
- B.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics, or
- B.Sc. with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at the graduate level
- It is necessary to must have attained at least 55% marks (general category) and 50% marks for the reserved category applicants. Those who have done BSc Honours must have attained at least 55% (50% for SC/ST/PwD category applicants). Applicants who are qualified through correspondence or distance-learning programmes are also eligible to apply.

Examination Pattern:
Find the details of the exam pattern mentioned below:
- Paper will be for 120 minutes
- The candidate has to attempt 120 questions in the paper
- There will be Multiple Choice Questions and Subjective Questions on paper
- Every candidate has to face a negative marking scheme.
Marks Distribution:
- Mathematics will consist of 60 questions for 4 marks each.
- English will consist of 20 questions for 4 marks each.
- Logical Reasoning will have 20 questions for 4 marks each.
- Other Subjects will be comprised of 20 questions for 4 marks each.
Admit Card:
The admit card or hall ticket for the BIT MCA 2024 exam will release in June. Candidates are required to download the admit card online through the official website. To download the admit card, log in to the website using the application number and password. This will bring the exam-related details to the screen. It is suggested to take a copy of the admit card for further reference. And it is necessary to keep a copy of the admit card and carry it to the examination center. Candidates won’t be allowed to enter the exam center without a copy of the admit card.
Result Announcement:
The exam result will be announced in June month. Candidates can check the result through the official website. To check the exam score card, log in to the website using login credentials such as the application number and password. Applicants can download the result and take a print of the score card which will be further needed for the counseling procedure.
Counseling:
BIT will commence the counseling procedure in the online mode. Candidates are required to register for counseling. The seat allotment is based on the marks attained in the BIT MCA entrance test and the preference of the institute campuses.
