CA CPT 2023: Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is an entry-level examination for Chartered Accountancy Course. It is a national level test thus lakhs of candidates from all over India participate in the CA CPT Exam. It is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. The test consists of four subjects i.e. Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics, and Quantitative Aptitude to test basic knowledge in these subject areas. The candidate who has passed Class X or equivalent student can also register for Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test.  For CA CPT Examination a candidate is eligible after passing Class XII or equivalent. CA CPT 2023 Application Form:

Given below are some general instructions that must be followed while filling the application forms. Read them carefully to avoid any error in the Application Form.

• Firstly, the aspirants must visit the official website.
• The official website is: www.icai.org
• Then register yourself by filling details.
• The candidates will have to fill the details like Name, Date of Birth, Sex, mobile number.
• Submit the form after that.
• After that login with id and password sent via E-Mail.
• Fill the other details like Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Address, Category, Nationality, Medium of Study, Educational Qualification
• Upload your Recent Passport Sized Photograph.
• Make the payment of the application form.
• Generated a print of application form for future reference.

CA CPT Application Fee:

• The application fee for CA CPT will be Rs.1000/- for centers in India, US $ 300/- for Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai & Muscat centers, and INR 1700/-for Kathmandu center.
• The payment can be done online by VISA/Master/Maestro Credit/Debit Card.

Eligibility Criteria:

The Candidate must ensure they are eligible before applying for the application form. Below given are eligibility conditions to appear for CA CPT Examination 2023:

• The Candidate must have passed 10th and 12th examination from a recognized board.
• The candidate who has done graduation in commerce and must have scored at least 55% marks.
• Candidates holding UG/PG degree from Open University were exempted from appearing in the entry-level test.
• Appearing candidates are eligible to apply for CA CPT.

Exam Pattern:

• CA CPT Exam will be conducted two shifts.
• The first 1^stwould be from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
• The 2^nd shift will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
• Type of question will be Objective type
• The exam will be of a total of 200 marks.
• There will be a negative marking of ¼ of marks allotted to a question.

Admit Card:

• Admit card consist of photograph and signature of all the candidates

• The entry of candidates without an admit card is prohibited.
