CDS Application Form 2025:
Before applying for the CDS 2025 Application Forms, candidates are advised to availing the whole info from the official website www.upsconline.nic.in online. It is important to get done with the completion of part I and upload a photo signature as well. Part II consisted of the payment procedure which can be sent online or to any of the SBI branches. Ensure to take a printout of the application form to keep as a reference.
Application Fee:
- Candidates applicable for applying in the examination need to pay Rs 200/ (OBC category and General)
- Fee charges are not applicable for SC/ST and any of the Female candidates
- There is no fee for SC/ST and Female candidates.

Steps To Apply for CDS 1 2025 Application Form:
- Visit the official website of the UPSC.
- On the home page, visit the Active Examination.
- The application process is divided into 2 parts.
- Part I requires the candidate to furnish personal, educational, and residential details for registration purposes.
- A valid and correct phone number and email address must be provided for the same.
- The examination fee is Rs 200 (no fee for women and reserved category students), then paid via an online gateway provided, or via SBI challan generated from the website.
- The challan is to be submitted with cash at the SBI Cash counter the next day.
- Part II of the application filling procedure requires the candidate to scan the photograph and signature images and restrict the size according to the guidelines and upload them on the website.
- Before clicking the submit button the candidate is advised to, take the printout of the filled-in application form for future reference.
- The availability of admit cards is notified on the website accordingly.

CDS Age limit:
Candidates interested in pursuing their career must be between the age limit of 20 to 24 if applying for IMA and 25 years in applying for OTA. For reserved categories, age relaxation is the beneficial factor that the Indian Government has provided

Nationality:
Candidates who belong below the country, are eligible for CDS Exam 2025:
- Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Or Candidates who are from Bhutan
- Or Candidates who also belong to Nepal
- Before 1st January 1963 a Tibetan refugee who came to India to permanently settle in the county or an Indian who shifted from Pakistan, East African & Sri Lanka Countries of Kenya, Burma, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire or Vietnam to settle down in India permanently.
Marital Status:
- For the IMA, AFA & INA posts candidates must be unmarried.
- For the OTA Male Applicants are exempted from restrictions for this.
- Widows, Unmarried Women & Divorcees candidates can apply for Officers Training Academy (OTA).
Educational Qualification:
- When applying for the posts like OTA and IMA applicants should have a degree from a recognized university or correspondent
- Applying for posts like Indian Naval Academy posts candidate holds a degree in an engineering program from only a recognized university
- When applying for the posts, a degree from a recognized university with Physics and Maths at the 12th Level is compulsory.
- Air Force Academy: Any Degree course which is recognized university with Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering
- Army/Air Force/Navy candidates must be Graduates. During the SSB interview candidates must have proof of Graduation Provisional Certificate.
- For the Air Force and Navy Exam candidates must have Maths and Physics in 10+2 and CDS exam candidates require Graduation from any stream.
Physical Fit:
According to the Combined Defence Services Exam 2025 candidates must be physically fit. Before applying for the CDS 2 2025 candidates must read the UPSC guidelines.
Important to Note Before Applying: Girls candidates can go for only posts in Officer Training Academy.
Process of Selection:
Selection will be done based on the results of the written exam, the candidates who are shortlisted are called for SSB or Service Selection Board. The CDS 2025 selection proves below phases:

Exam Pattern for CDS Exam 2025:
Exam pattern is categorized as the following:
- The Elementary Mathematics exam will take place for 2 hours. It will be for 100 marks
- General Knowledge will take place for 2 hours. It will also be for 100 marks
- The Elementary Mathematics exam will take place for 2 hours. It will be for 100 marks
- In total, the time duration will be 2 hours, and the total marks counted will be 300

- English Syllabus: Synonyms, Sentence Correction Antonyms, Jumbled Sentences, Reading Comprehension, Error Spotting, Para Jumbles & Fill in the Blanks

CDS 2 2025 Admit Card:
- Right now no date announced for the CDS 2025 Admit Card.
- Candidates can check the CDS I & II Exam Admit only online mode.
- Authority will not send the admit card via post or any other offline mode.
- Candidates can get their CDS Exam 2025 Admit Card from Official Website.
- After the qualified written Exam of CDS, the authority will send separate admit cards For the Interview/Personality Test.
