CU Kashmir Course Duration and Eligibility:

CU Kashmir offers almost 14 courses in streams like UG and PG. The courses are available in full-time and part-time mode. Besides this, courses in PG Diploma are also available. The duration of each course depends on the requirement of the program.

• B.Tech. the course is for 4 years and to do this course, the applicant must be an intermediate in the Science stream from the recognized board. It includes the subjects such as Computer Science & Engineering
• Another course is B.Sc. + M.Sc. for 5 Years. To apply for this course, the applicant must be an Intermediate with a minimum of 50% marks from the recognized University. It includes the subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Zoology, and Biotechnology.
• The next course is B.Ed. + M.Ed. for 3 Years duration. To do this course applicant must be a graduate from the recognized University with at least 50% aggregate marks.
• Applicants can also choose MA which is for 2 years. To do the course, the minimum eligibility is graduation from some recognized University with at least 50% aggregate marks in any stream. Candidates can attain admission in subjects such as Economics, English, Islamic Studies, Urdu, and Political Science
• M.Tech. the course is for 2 years and to apply for this course, the applicant must have done a B.Tech. in CSE/IT, or M.Sc. in IT from some recognized University with at least 50% aggregate marks. Candidate can do M. Tech in Information Technology
• Ph.D. is another well-known course available at the Central University of Kashmir. It is for three-and-a-half years. To apply for this course, the applicant must have completed a master’s from some recognized University with at least 55% aggregate marks. Candidates can choose any of the subjects amongst Economics, Management, Mathematics, and Zoology to do a Ph.D.
• LLM is a 2 year course that requires applicants to have completed an LLB of three-and-a-half years with an aggregate of 50% marks from some recognized University.

CU Kashmir Admissions:

• Admissions to the B.Tech course are based on the performance in JEE Mains.
• For M. Tech., admissions are made on the exams such as GATE/UGC Net/JRF/JEST exam.
