CG B.Sc. Nursing 2023: It is an entrance examination to take admission in B.Sc. Nursing courses and organized by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). The CG B.Sc Nursing 2023 is a state-level examination and is open to residents of the state of Chhattisgarh or to people who have domicile status in the state of Chhattisgarh. The examination is organized once a year. After qualifying for the entrance examination. a merit list is published and the candidates have to go through counseling to get admission into the various institutes.

CG B.Sc Nursing 2023 Application Form

The CG B.Sc. Nursing 2023 Application Form will be released in the month of March 2023. The forms are available only in online mode. The last date for candidates to submit the application form is until the third week of April 2023. Candidates have to provide a valid email ID & phone number in the application form to which all information will be sent. Apart from other documents, candidates have to upload passport size photographs & signatures before submission of the application form. Candidates have to make a note of their registered mail ID & phone number. All the details in the application form must be filled up carefully and subsequently rechecked by the applicant as incomplete or incorrect application forms will be rejected. Candidates should remember to take printouts of the filled-up application form for future reference.

CG B.Sc Nursing Application Fee:

Candidates have to submit the application fee in online mode via credit card or debit card or net banking. The application fee for the General category candidates is Rs. 200. The application fee for the OBC category candidates is Rs. 150. The application fee for the Reserved & Physically disabled candidate is Rs. 100.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen candidate either belonging to Chhattisgarh or domicile of Chhattisgarh.
• Candidates must have passed the 10^th& 12^th level examination from a recognized board or university.
• The candidate must have completed 17 years of age.
• The applicant must have the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as mandatory subjects.
• The applicant must have scored a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate.

Syllabus:

• Physics-Units & Dimensions, Hooke’s Law, Work, Energy & Power, Newton’s Law of Motion, kinematics energy, measurement of voltage & current, the velocity of light, etc.
• Chemistry- Chemical bond, Solid-state, the structure of the atom, nuclear chemistry, thermodynamics, Thermochemistry, biomolecules, chemical kinetics, electrochemistry, etc.
• Biology: Consists of botany and zoology:
• Botany: structural organization of the cell, Eukaryotic chromosome, Golgi complex, coal & petroleum, biotechnology, the difference between plant & animal cell division, etc.
• Zoology- Fertilization, Alcoholism, Binomial & trinomial nomenclature,  smoking, Blood banks, Wildlife conservation, Human population, etc.

Exam Pattern:

The examination is organized in offline mode. The question paper consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions. The subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The subject of biology is further subdivided into Botany and Zoology. For each correct answer, the candidate is awarded  1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Admit Card:

The applicants will have to enter their registration ID & password in order to download their admit card. The admit card is expected to be made available in the second week of May 2023. The candidate’s admit card is mandatory for candidates to enter the examination hall. The candidate needs to carry one valid ID proof such as an Aadhar card, a driving license along with an admit card.

Result

CG B.Sc. Nursing 2023 Result is expected to be declared in the second week of June 2023. The result is expected to be made available online. Candidates have to enter the stipulated application number & password in order to access their results. The result is published as a merit list. The merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored in the entrance exam. The selected candidates who have their names will appear in the merit list are called for counseling. Counseling for CG B.Sc Nursing is expected to commence in online mode.

Counseling is mandatory for all candidates whose names appear on the merit list. Candidates are expected to verify all supporting documents during counseling. The final admission is granted to candidates after counseling, verification of documents & fee payment. The documents required for verification are Admit Card,  Score Card, 10^th  pass Certificate & mark sheet, 12^th  pass certificate & mark sheet, Category certificate, Caste certificate, and Residence certificate.

Cut Off:

There is no announced cut-off as admissions are on the basis of the merit list and the subsequent counseling process.
