CG PET 2023: Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test is the state-level entrance test that is commenced by DTE or Directorate of Technical Education, Chhattisgarh. It is commenced to select the candidates for admissions in the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the various private or government colleges of the Chhattisgarh state.

CG PET 2023 Application Form:

The CG PET Application Form is filled via online mode and by the official website provided by the authority. The application form will be released from July 2023 and provided till the last week. The fee for the application form will be provided by modes like net banking, debit/credit card, and bank challan of SBI bank via offline mode. Keep the printout of the application for fulfilling further needs.

Application Fee:

• Candidates belonging to the Unreserved Category need to make a payment of Rs.200/-
• The Candidates belonging to the OBC Category to make a payment of Rs.150/-
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD Category to make payment of Rs.100/-

Steps To Apply For CG PET 2023 Application Form:

• Visit the official website i.e, vyapam.cgstate.gov.in.
• On the home page, click on Notification of CG PET 2023.
• Then Register with your application number and password.
• Then click on the login button.
• Now fill out the Application Form.
• Fill in all the details in the application form and upload all the documents.
• Now pay the Application Fee.
• Download and take the printout of the Application form.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Domicile Eligibility: If aspirants applying for the Chhattisgarh state quota then ensure for providing the domicile certificate.
• Age limit: The candidate needs to have the age of 30 years as of 1st July 2023.
• Candidates need not be more than 17 years as of December 31^st during the year of admission.
• There will be three years of age relaxation for reserved categories.
• Aspirants are required to have passed class 12^th or equivalent exams with subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and anyone from subjects such as Bio-Technology, Biology, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects.
• Candidate required to have passed class 12^th and scored at least 45% marks for those belonging to the general category and 40% marks for those belonging to SC/ST category.

Exam Pattern:

• The Exam will be conducted in offline mode.
• There will be a total of 150 questions in the question paper.
• The Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the examination.
• The question paper will be available in English & Hindi
• The duration of the exam will be 3 hours
• The question paper will consist of 150 marks.
• 1 mark will be given for every correct answer.

Admit Card:

The availability of the Admit Card will be done via online mode through the official website. One needs to download the admit card from the second week of April 2023. It will not be provided by modes such as post or courier. Make sure for carrying the admit card along with you during the examination time at the exam center.

Result:

The result will be announced in the last week of September. One can check the result via the official website of CG PET. To check the results, enter the roll number, and submit it. Also, keep the printout of the results for the admission process further.
