CG TET 2023 stands for Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test which will be commenced by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur. A candidate who is willing to become a teacher in Government or Private Schools located in Chhattisgarh needs to successfully clear the CG TET examination. It is up to the candidate to choose a primary class (I-V) or Upper primary class(VI-VIII) in government and private schools located in Chhattisgarh. This exam commences only once in a year, so the interested candidate needs to go through all exam related details which are given below:

CG TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teachers (I-V):

• The candidate must have successfully passed HSC or its equivalent with at least 45% marks.
• Candidate must be possessed with relevant B.A/ B.Ed/B.Sc degree with at least 50% marks.

Eligibility Criteria for Upper Primary Teachers (VI-VII):

• Candidate must have a relevant degree in B.Sc/B.A/D.Ed with at least 45% marks or B.Ed with minimum 50% marks.

CG TET 2023 Application Form:

The candidate needs to collect an application form from the online mode.  Go to the official website and get the form. Before filling the form, go through all the guidelines mentioned in the official website. Make sure for providing all the personal and academic info while applying for the examination. Once this is over, upload the relevant documents.

CG TET Application fee:

• Application fee for General category candidates for paper I will be Rs.450/- and for paper II, it will be Rs.500/-
• Application fee for OBC category candidates for the paper I will be Rs.350/- and for paper II, it will be Rs.450/-
• Application fee for SC/ST category candidates for paper I will be Rs.300/- and for paper II, it will be Rs.400/-
• You can make payment via offline and online mode both.
• Those who pay via offline mode will pay within the specified period given by the authorities.

CG TET 2023 Exam Pattern:

• The Exam will be conducted by the offline method.
• The Exam will have objective types of questions.
• The exam duration of the paper will be 3 hours.
• The total number of questions will be 150.
• Paper-I details are as follows:
• Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• The language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Language II will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Mathematics will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Environmental Studies will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Paper-II details are as follows:
• Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Language II will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Maths or Science (For Maths and Science Teachers) will have 60 questions for 60 marks.
• Social Science (For Social Science Teacher) will have 30 questions for 30 marks.

Chattisgarh TET Admit card 2023:

The CG TET  2023 Admit Card will be released in March 2023 on the official website. The Candidate must download the Admit card and carry it to the examination hall. The Admit card has the details about the exam center, exam date, and the candidate’s personal details.

Chattisgarh TET 2023 Result:

The CG TET 2023 Result will be announced in June 2023 on the official website i.e.www.cgvyapam.choice.gov.in. The Candidate can check their result by entering details like registration number to check the result. The Candidate who will qualify for the exam will be invited for the interview.

Process of Selection:

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination in the Entrance Exam.
• Marks attained in the Entrance Examination will be shortlisted candidates.
• The exam will be commenced by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board Raipur.
• Candidates will go for Final Round Personal Interview.

In brief about the validity of CG TET Certificate:

The candidate will receive the certificate after successfully clearing the examination and all the qualified candidates can use the certificate for Seven years. The validity will begin from the date of the result announcement of all the category candidates (comprises of both reserved & unreserved categories).
