CG TET 2024: CG TET stands for Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test which is managed by CGPEB or Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board with the aim to provide huge opportunities to the candidates in the teaching profession. CG TET 2024 is an important test to select primary teachers in Class I-V and upper primary teachers in Class VI-VIII in the government and private schools located in Chhattisgarh. CG TET is an examination commenced every year and the marks attained by the candidate will decide the fate of the candidate. CG TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

For Primary Teacher Class I to V:

• Candidate’s age should be between 18-35 years.
• Candidate must have successfully cleared class XII or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks with a 2-year Diploma in Education.
• Those who have appeared in a 2-year (D.El.Ed) and (B.El.Ed)  and possess with a degree of both can also apply.
• Applicant must have completed Graduation or B.Ed with at least 50% marks may also apply.

 For Upper Primary Class VI-VIII:

• Candidate’s age should be between 18-35 years.
• Candidate must be possessed with the B.Ed degree and Graduation Degree B.A/ B.Sc/ D.Ed with minimum  50% marks
• Those who are appearing in 4 years of (B.El.Ed) may also apply for CG TET 2024

CG TET 2024 Application Form:

Before applying for CG TET 202, collect the details about application form. Go through the eligibility criteria before you apply.

• The form for CG TET 2024 is available in the month of January 2024.
• Collect the application form using online mode.
• Go to the official webpage cgvyapam.choice.gov.in and read all the instructions carefully before applying.
• Make sure to enter all the information carefully and correctly.
• Before you submit the form, take a print out to be on the safer side
• Submit the form before deadline.

CG TET Application Fee:

Make payment of the application fee. Find the category wise application fee info below:

General Category:

• Both papers: Rs 550/-
• Single paper: Rs 450/-

OBC Category:

• Both papers: Rs 450/-
• Single paper: Rs 350/-

SC/ST Category:

• Both papers: Rs 400/-
• Single paper: Rs 300/-

You can make the payment via any mode Online mode or Offline Mode.

Exam Pattern:

Candidate needs to complete the paper within the duration of one and a half hours.

For Paper-I:

• Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks
• Language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks
• Language II will have 30 questions for 30 marks
• Mathematics will have 30 questions for 30 marks
• Environmental Studies will have 30 questions for 30 marks

For Paper-II:

• Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks
• Language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks
• Language II will have 30 questions for 30 marks
• Mathematics or Science (For Maths and Science Teachers)   will have 60 questions for 60 marks.
• Social Science (For Social Science Teacher)   will have 60 questions for 60 marks.

Exam Syllabus:

Paper 1will consist of the following syllabus:

• Child Development and Pedagogy
• Language 1
• Language 2
• Mathematics
• Environmental Education

Paper 2 will consist of the following syllabus:

• Child Development and Pedagogy
• Language 1
• Language 2
• Optional Subjects: Maths/Science/Social Science

Admit Card:

• The admit card or hall ticket for CG TET 2024 will be released in the month of March.
• Admit card is an essential document and the candidate should carry it along to the Examination centre.
• Go to the official website to collect the admit card.
• The candidate will not be allowed to enter the Examination centre without admit card.

Result:

The candidate will be able to collect CG TET 2024 Exam result from the official website. To check the result, use your registration number available on the official portal. Those who successfully clear the exam will be called for the personal interview round.

CG TET 2024 Selection Procedure:

The selection will be done on the basis of the performance shown in CG TET Entrance Exam commenced by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board Raipur. Based on the marks scored in the Entrance Exam will help to shortlist the candidates. Candidates will move for Final Round Personal Interview.
