UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024 Application Form:

• First of all, collect the application form from the official website of UPSC www.upsconline.nic.com.
• Then follow two parts of registration such as Part I and Part II. Make sure for completing both the parts carefully. If the application form is found incomplete then it would lead to cancellation at the same time.

Application Fee:

To pay the UPSC 2024 application is an important part of the application form. The candidate is required to pay the amount of Rs 100/- as the application fee. The candidate is required to pay the amount in cash at the SBI bank. Else you can move with other payment gateways such as credit card and debit card. The best part of the fee is that SC, ST, and female candidates are exempted from paying any fee for an application form.

Eligibility Criteria:

Three phases for UPSC IAS: There are three different phases for UPSC IAS examination which are as follows:

• Phase 1: Preliminary Examination or CSAT (Objective Section)
• Phase 2: Main Examination (Subjective Section)

UPSC IAS Exam Pattern 2024:

Preliminary Exam:

• There are two sets of papers, Paper 1st & Paper 2nd.
• The Duration of the Exam will be 2 hours for each paper.

UPSC Civil Service Exam 2024 Interview:

Candidates who have attained the minimum possible qualifying marks in the written part of the UPSC main exam fixed by the exam conducting authority will move to the final phase. This phase is the Interview round or personality test. Board will take the interview.

The interview is held by the Board of competent people to check the social traits and the interest in the current affairs. This round will also analyze the personal aptness for public services. The qualities that will be checked include mental alertness, clear and logical exposition, variety and depth of interest, intellectual and moral integrity, the balance of judgment, the ability for social cohesion and leadership, etc. The interview comprises of purposeful conversation to check the mental qualities of the candidates.

Candidates have to write an essay in Paper-I. They will be expected to keep close to the subject of the essay to arrange their ideas in an orderly fashion and to write concisely. Credit will be given for effective and exact expression.

IAS 2024 Admit Card:

The UPSC IAS Admit Card will be released 1 week before the Exam. It may be noted that admit cards will not be sent by post to any candidate. The Admit Card will contain the details like candidates name, exam venue, roll number, date of exam, etc. Also, candidates who fail to carry the admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

Result:

 UPSC will release a final IAS result 2024 on its official website. Candidates can check their result by using their registration ID.

Off Marks:

• UPSC 2024 will announce the cut-off for keeping a limit to the applicants recruited to the IAS post. CUT off marks thus become the parameter of selection to the post of Indian Administrative Officer.
• The Cut off marks are applied to the three different stages such as:
• Prelims: The qualified applicants will be selected for the main examination.
• Mains: The qualified applicants will be selected for the interview round.
