CMAFFU 2022: Amongst so many universities, the name that needs to appear successfully is Farm Universities of Karnataka. The Government of Karnataka under the universities of the Agricultural Science Act established 5 farm universities to impart quality agricultural education in Karnataka. This university commences a common entrance exam for admission to Master’s/ Doctoral degree programs in Farm Universities such as UAS Dharwad, UAS Raichur, UAS Bangalore, UAS Bagalkot, and UAS Shivamogga. Candidates desperately want to apply for different courses, however, they can select only 2 in preferred streams for seeking admission to Postgraduate programs and one subject for a doctoral degree program. It is important to know every detail before you apply for CMAFFU 2022.

CMAFFU 2022 Application Process:

The application form will be released in the online mode. It is mandatory for all the applicants to fill the application form and submit it timely to appear in the entrance exam. Candidates should choose their preferred stream while filling the application form. Preference will not change once filled. Make sure to provide relevant Email Id, Aadhar number, and permanent address for further requirements.

Application Fee:

Make a payment of Rs. 2000 as application fee (General Category) and Rs 1000 for SC/ST category candidates.

Documents to be uploaded:

• Applicant’s photograph with dimensions 3.5 cm width x 4.5 cm height
• Signature and left-hand thumb impression image with dimensions 3.5 cm width x 1.5 cm height
• All the documents should be in pdf format and size should be 400KB each (scan quality range 200 to 300 dpi)
• Blurred/improper images and documents will lead to rejection.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate must have a degree of graduation with at least 6.5 OGPA from any recognized Agricultural/ Horticultural university or deemed university accredited by ICAR. However, for SC/ST candidates, it should be a minimum of 6.0.
• Candidate must produce character and conduct a certificate issued by the dean of the constituent college.
• Candidate must have successfully cleared graduation from any ICAR accredited Farm University in Karnataka. Horanadu/ Gadinadu Kannadigas must be possessed with a degree from an Agricultural/ Horticultural university or any deemed university accredited by ICAR from the eligible geographical region as per GoK orders.

Eligibility for Inservice candidates:

Only 3 farm managers under the in-service quota will be admitted at UAS Raichur

Eligibility criteria Doctoral degree programs:

• Horanadu/ Gadinadu Kannadigas must acquire with the from an Agricultural/ Horticultural university or any deemed farm university accredited by ICAR from the eligible geographical region and will be admitted as per GoK orders.
• Candidate must be possessed with a Post-graduation degree in the equivalent subject or equivalent qualification from an Agricultural/ Horticultural university or any deemed university accredited by ICAR with a minimum OGPA of 2.50/4.00 (Trimester system). For SC/ST Candidates the minimum OGPA IS 2.00/4.00
• Those who have studied under the Trimester system and are seeking admission IN doctoral degree programmes need to submit the equivalent marks certificate (master’s degree)

Eligibility for Inservice Candidates:

Only 10 teachers/ scientists (5 from other participating Farm Universities and other 5 from parent Farm University) will be given admission under service quota for each of the 5 farm universities.

Exam Pattern:

Check the below-given exam pattern:

• Candidates will get 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete the paper.
• Paper will be consisted of multiple objective type multiple choice questions
• The Paper will be consisted of 100 questions.
• The exam will be conducted in offline mode.

Admit Card:

The admit card will be released via online mode. Download the admit card from the website of common pg admissions. Admit card is an important document and compulsory document to be carried along to the exam centre with a valid photo Id proof. The candidate is not allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card.

Answer Key:

The answer key for Masters Degree and doctoral degree programme will be provided on the official website a few days after the exam gets over. The answer key provides all the correct answers to questions asked in the entrance examination. Candidates need to check their question ID and download the answer key for the specific question paper.

Exam Result:

The examination will be released via online mode. Applicants can check the result via the official website. On the basis of the exam result, the exam conducting authority will prepare a merit list on the website

Mode of Admission:

Two merit list will be prepared:

First Merit List for General Candidates

1. Weightage of performance in qualifying degree: 50 percent
2. Weightage of performance in Entrance Examination: 50 percent

Second Merit List for Special Category Candidates

Seats in this category are based on university intake

• 25 % of the seats are reserved for children of Ex-servicemen (EXS), Defense Personnel (DEF).
• 5 % of the seats are reserved for differently-abled/ PH category
