CMAT 2023: The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is considered an important test that is administered via the Institute of Management Studies. How to Apply for CMAT 2023?

The candidates have to go through the following step-by-step procedure for applying for CMAT 2023:

• Visit the official website of the CMAT.
• Now click on “CMAT 2023.”
• Then the candidate has to register themselves before applying for CMAT 2023.
• An email address and a phone number are required for registration.
• Login information will be sent to the candidate’s registered email and phone number.
• After logging in, go through the given instructions.
• Now click on the “I Agree” option.
• Fill in all the details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, address, gender, email ID, phone number, educational details, etc., and note down the system-generated application number.
• Now upload the required documents, like a passport-size photograph and scanned signature, etc., and proceed to the next steps.
• Now select your payment gateway, enter the details accordingly, and make your payment.
• Re-check and verify the given details.
• After verification, take its printout and keep it safe for future use.

CMAT 2023 Eligibility:

• The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
• There is no age limit for appearing in the CMAT.
• Candidates must have a Bachelors’s degree in any discipline to apply for CMAT.
• Also, candidates who are appearing in the final year of their degree and whose results will be declared before the start of the admission session of 2023-24 will be eligible for CMAT.

Exam Pattern:

• The Exam will be conducted in online (computer-based) mode.
• The Time Duration of the paper will be of 3 hours.
• Objective type of questions will be present in the paper.
• There will be 100 questions for 400 marks.
• The paper will be available in the English language.
• 4 marks will be given for each correct response.
• For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

Syllabus:

• Language Comprehension: Vocabulary, Synonyms, Reading Passage, Antonyms, Sentence Correction, etc.

Reservations

• 15% of the seats Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates
• 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates
• 27% seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates as per the Central List*
• 10% of the seats for General Economically Weaker Sections (General – EWS) candidates
• Persons with Disability (PwD) with 40% or more disability

Admit Card:

The availability of the Admit Card is possible only from the official website and no other mode. Once there is the announcement for the hall ticket, candidates can download the application number and keep a printout with them. It is a compulsory document that the candidates need to carry while moving to the examination hall.
