CMRUAT 2023: CMR University Admission Test (CMRUAT) is a national-level entrance test conducted by CMR University for admission into B. Tech (Hons) and MBA, at its School of Engineering and Technology and School of MBA. It was established in 2013, CMR University is a private university affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. CMRUAT is conducted every year by CMR University, Karnataka. CMRUAT 2022 will be conducted on 3 dates as a computer-based Test and through CMRUAT 2023, candidates can seek admission for B.Tech./B.Tech (Hons) Programme in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering at its School of Engineering and Technology and MBA Programme at its School of Management.

CMRUAT 2023 Application Form:

All the interested candidates have to fill out the application form through the official websitewww.cmr.edu.in. Candidates can apply for this exam online as well as offline.

Important documents required during application form filling:

• Date of birth certificate
• Identity proof (AADHAR card, Voter id)
• 10th and 12th mark sheet
• Scanned photograph (less than 80kb)
• Scanned signature (less than 80kb)
• Correct working phone no. and email id
• Caste certificate if applied for any reservation

Application Fee:

All candidates have to fill out an application fee to complete the process of application form filling. The application fee for all the candidates is 750rs. Candidates paying the application fee online may pay through credit card, debit card, or net banking.

CMRUAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility for B. Tech:

The candidates must have passed 10+2 or 10+3 (Diploma) or equivalent from a recognized university/board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical and Vocational subject with a minimum of 45% marks in all subjects taken together (40% marks for SC/ST/PH category).

Eligibility for MBA:

The candidates must have passed any Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized university/ board with a minimum of 45% marks in all subjects taken together (40% marks for SC/ST/PH category).

Age Limit:

This is no upper age limit to apply for CMRUAT. All Karnataka, non-Karnataka, NRI, and Foreign students are eligible to write the CMRUAT 2022.

Exam Pattern:

CMRUAT 2023 will be conducted online computer-based. All the questions will be in MCQs form and the question paper will be in English medium. For every correct answer candidate will score 1 mark and there will be no negative marking.

Admit Card and Result:

CMRUAT exam will be conducted in January and the admit card is released a few days before the exact exam date. Results will be declared within 72 hours of the exam on the official website.

Counselling Process:

Candidates who have qualified for CMRUAT 2022 will be called for the counseling process after the results are announced. The date of the counseling will be sent to students through email to their registered email ID or SMS to the registered mobile number. The candidates must appear in person for physical counseling for admission. No relaxation of any kind is permissible in this regard. The selection of candidates will be made following the CMRU regulations prevailing at the time of admission, and the selection process will be based on the academic merit and aptitude of the prospective candidate. Candidate must bring the following documents in original at the time of counseling (to be taken back by the candidate after verification) along with two sets of attested photocopies:

• Class 10th mark sheet: Mandatory for all Programmes,
• Address Proof,
• 12th standard mark sheet,
• Valid Score of CMRUAT 2022,
• Pre-final Year Mark sheets for MBA Programme.
