COMEDK 2023: The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) in Bangalore has conducted the COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET). Currently, 190 engineering colleges, which offer around 20,000 vacancies for scholars, are affiliated with COMEDK and utilise its testing mechanism for effecting admission to the UG programme during the academic year. The tender for conducting entrance exams and the selection process has been leased by KUPECA to COMEDK.

• The COMEDK UGET 2023 Application form has been released on 15th February 2023 and the last date to apply is 24th April 2023.

COMEDK Application Form 2023:

The COMEDK Application Form 2023 will release in February 2023. Applicants have to upload scanned images of photographs and signatures while filling out the application form for COMEDK UGET. Students are thus advised to keep the below-mentioned documents with them in scanned images before filling out the application form

Registration:

Aspirants must register by entering their name, mobile phone number, email address, and date of birth.

• Students are advised to provide their current and working mobile numbers and email address.
• Students will also be required to create a password at this stage.
• This password will be used for all future login for admit card, result, etc.
• After entering all the details, students have to click on the submit button to complete the registration process.
• Aspirants will receive an email and Sms confirmation.

COMEDK 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

For UG Engineering Courses:

• The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E. is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject
• The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC/ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio-Technology Biology Computer Science or Electronic engineering.

For UG Architecture  Course:

• Candidates must have completed 12^th Class with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English as compulsory subjects and secured 50% Marks (40% for ST/SC/OBC candidates must be of Karnataka state only.) in 12^th. Candidate must have passed 10+3 Diploma/ Polytechnic 12^th Class /2^nd PUC from any recognized state board or Central Board.
• The candidate must secure the minimum cut-off of NATA.

Exam Pattern:

The exam Pattern of COMEDK UGET is given below:

•  The entrance exam will be organized in an online mode.
• The medium of the Exam will be English only.
• The time to complete the exam will be of 3 hours.
• The paper will contain a total of 180 MCQs.
• Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark.
• There will be no negative marking

COMEDK 2023 Result:

The admission authority of the conducting body would release the result of COMEDK UGET On the website as mentioned above.

 The candidates who have appeared in the examination can now check their result from the admission portal by following the steps below.

• Log in using the Application No/User ID and password.
• The candidates will be able to view the result from the portal and then will be required to download their rank card to present during the counseling.
• The result will comprise the details such as registration number, online test admission ticket

Cut-off:

If multiple aspirants secure the same ranks in COMEDK UGET, then the following process would be followed:

• In case of a tie, the Aspirant with the least number of wrong responses in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry would be given preference.
• Then candidates having higher aggregate marks in Physics and Math would be given a higher rank.
• Then candidates having higher marks in Maths would be preferred.
• At last, the candidate would be preferred on basis of Age would be preferred.
