Educational Qualification:

Project Associate-I:

• To apply for the job of Project Associate-I, applicant must have done B.E./B.Tech (ECE) or equivalent. OR M.Sc (Electronics) or equivalent. OR B.E./B.Tech (ECE/ Electrical & Electronics/ Elec & Inst./ Comp. Sci./ Infor & Tech/ Power electronics or Equivalent. OR M.Sc in Electronics or equivalent.

Junior Research Fellow:

• To apply for the job of Junior Research Fellow, the minimum qualification is B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc (ECE/Electrical/Electronics/ Physics/Nanotechnology/Chemical Technology/Material Science/Chemistry) or equivalent.
• The minimum age to apply is 35 years

Technician {Mechanic (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)

• Candidate must have completed Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/ X Standard/ SSC or equivalent degree with Science subjects and attained minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in Refrigeration & Air conditioning. Or SSC/class X Standard or equivalent degree with Science subjects, with a minimum of 55% marks and 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from some recognized Institution in Refrigeration & Air conditioning trade.

Or

• Applicant must have done SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in Refrigeration & Air conditioning trade in a Ministry/ Department/ Organization/ Public sector undertaking/ Autonomous Body under Government of India/ State/ UT.

Technician (Electrician)

• Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/ 10th Standard/ SSC or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in Electrician. Or SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with a minimum of 55% marks and 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from some recognized Institution in the Electrician trade.

Technician (Plumber)

• Candidate must have attained the Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/X Standard/ SSC or equivalent with Science subjects and acquired at least 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in Plumber.

Or

• SSC/X Standard or equivalent with Science subjects and acquired at least 55% marks and 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from some recognized Institution in the Plumber trade

Technician Mason (Building Construction)

• Applicant must have done Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/X Standard/ SSC or equivalent with Science subjects and attained at least 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in Mason Building Construction

• SSC/X Standard or equivalent with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in Mason Building Construction trade

Technician {Tools & Die Maker (Press Tools, Jigs & Fixtures)}

• Applicant must have done Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/ 10th Standard/ SSC or equivalent with Science subjects with 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in Tools & Die Maker (Press Tools, Jigs & Fixtures)

Technician (Fitter)

• Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/ X/SSC or equivalent with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/State trade certificate in Fitter. Or SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with a minimum of 55% marks and 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in the Fitter trade.

Technician (Electronics Mechanic)

• Candidate must have completed SSC/X Standard/ SSC or equivalent with Science subjects and attained at least 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in Electronics Mechanic.

Or

• SSC/ X Standard or equivalent with Science subjects and acquired at least 55% marks and 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from some recognized Institutions in the Electronics Mechanic trade.

Or

Technician (COPA)

• SSC/10th Standard/ SSC or equivalent with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in COPA.

Or

• SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects and acquired at least 55% marks and 2 years of full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in the COPA trade

Or

• SSC/X or equivalent with Science subjects and acquired at least 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in COPA trade in a Ministry/ Department/ Organization/ Public sector undertaking/ Autonomous Body under Government of India/ State/ UT.

Technician (Chemical Plant)

• SSC 10th Standard/ SSC or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in Chemical Plant.

Or

• SSC/ X Standard or equivalent with Science subjects with at least 55% marks and 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from some recognized Institution in the Chemical Plant trade.

Or

• SSC/X Standard or equivalent with Science subjects and acquired at least 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in Chemical Plant trade in a Ministry/ Department/ Organization/ Public sector undertaking/ Autonomous Body under Government of India/ State/ UT.

Technical Assistant (Electrical)

• Diploma in Electrical Engg./Tech. of minimum 3 years full-time duration with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Electrical Engg./ Tech.

Or

• Diploma in Electrical Engg./Tech. of minimum 2 years full-time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course and attained at least 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Electrical Engg./Tech.

Technical Assistant (Mechanical)

Applicant must have completed Diploma in Mechanical Engg./ Tech. of at least 3 years full-time duration, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Mechanical Engg./ Tech. Or Diploma in Mechanical Engg./ Tech. of at least 2 years full-time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Mechanical Engg./ Tech.

Technical Assistant (Civil)

Candidate must have completed Diploma in Civil Engg./ Tech. with at least 3 years full-time duration and acquired at least 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Civil Engg./ Tech. Or Diploma in Civil Engg./ Tech. of at least 2 years full-time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course with at least 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Civil Engg./ Tech.

Technical Assistant( Computer/IT)

Candidate must have done Diploma in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech. of at least 3 years full-time duration and acquired at least 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech. Or Diploma in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech. of at least 2 years full-time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course with at least 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech.

Age Limit:

• Technical Assistant – 28 Years

Selection Process:

Selection Process for the post of Technician-1 (Support Staff): The candidates as suggested by the Screening Committee will be invited for Trade Test. Those who clear the test will appear for the competitive written examination. The final merit list will be released based on the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.

Paper Pattern:

There will be three papers (Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III). Paper-II & Paper-III will be evaluated those who have acquired minimum marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper-I. The Final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II & Paper-III.

• The Paper will be Computer Based and the questions will be Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination
• Paper will be set in both in English and Hindi except for the questions on the English Language.
• The Paper is based on SSC + ITI / XIIth Standard.
• There will be 150 questions in the paper
• The candidate will get 150 minutes to complete the paper.

Selection Process for the Technical Assistant:

Applicants will be invited by the Screening Committee for Trade Test and those who qualify for the test will be invited for a competitive written examination. The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the competitive written examination.

Paper Pattern for Technical Assistant [Erstwhile Group III(1) & III(2)]:

For all these posts, the candidate needs to go through three papers. Paper-II & Paper-III will be evaluated only for those applicants who attained the minimum marks in Paper-I. The Final merit list will be prepared based on the marks acquired in Paper-II & Paper-III.

• The exam will be commenced in the online mode and the questions will be objective type.
• The Paper will appear in English and Hindi languages both.
• Application Fees: The candidate needs to submit Rs.100/- as an application fee.
