CSIR CMERI Recruitment 2023: The Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute is a public engineering research and development institution situated in India specifically in Durgapur, West Bengal. It is a constituent laboratory of the Indian Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Post Name: Technical Assistant

• Number of Vacancies: 22
• Upper Age Limit to Apply: 28 years on the last date of application. However, age relaxation as per Government rules.
• Expected Salary Scale: Level 6 ₹ 35400 – 112400/-
• At Scientist Level: 11 ₹ 67700 – 208700/-
• At Senior Scientist Level: 12 ₹ 78800 – 209200/-

Educational Qualifications: Applicant must have done 03 years / 02 years full-time Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Electronic, Civil and Automobile Engineering with at least 60% marks.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of trade tests and skill tests. There will be a Competitive Written Exam as well.

Selection Process: Selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the Interview.
