CSIR NET 2024 Application Form:

CSIR NET 2024 Application form will release in July 2024. All the interested candidates who want to enroll in the CSIR NET 2024 Registration Process has to apply through the online mode before the deadline. You can check the precise date of the deadline on the official website. All the candidates should read all the terms and conditions before getting to the task of filling. After filling check for all the details and take a print of the application forms. Send this form with all the required documents and e-challan at “The Sr. Controller of Examination of CSIR, HRDG” on or before September 2024.

Steps to fill Application Form:

• Visit the official Website – csirnet.nta.nic.in
• Then Register as a new user.
• After that Complete the Application Form.
• Then Upload Scanned Images of the Candidate Photograph (10-200kb) and Candidate Signature (4-30kb).
• Pay Examination Fee by Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/Paytm Services.
• Final Submission of Application Form.

CSIR NET Exam 2024 Application Fee:

All the candidates have to deposit the examination fee at any branch of an Indian bank across the country. Here is the complete detail of the application fee according to the categories:

• For General Category students, the application fee will be Rs.1000/-
• OBC/NCL category students, the application fee will be Rs.500/-
• For the other categories other than General and OBC, like – SC/ST/PH/VH, the fee will be Rs.250/-

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants can apply for CSIR UGC NET after reading the eligibility conditions set by the exam conducting authority. Here the eligibility conditions consisted of the applicant’s Nationality, Age limit, and educational qualification. Find the details mentioned below:

Nationality: The candidate must be a permanent citizen of India.

Age Limit: Here is the age limit to apply for CSIR UGC NET:

• The minimum age to apply is 28 years
• Candidates will get the age relaxation as per the different categories except for General Category candidates.
• There will be no maximum age limit for the lectureship

Educational Qualification:

• Those who have completed 4 year BS program or B. Pharma/B. E/B. Tech or Integrated BS-MS/MBBS/B.Sc. (Hons)/M.Sc. or equivalent degree/B.Sc. (Hons) or any equivalent degree to apply. Those who are enrolled in the integrated MS-PhD program must have acquired at least 55% marks (General and OBC-NCL category) and 50% (SC/ST, Physically and, visually handicapped) to apply.
• Besides this, who have enrolled in an M.Sc. course or those who have completed 10+2+3 years of any of the required qualifying exams will also consider applications to apply for the entrance test under the Result Awaited category.
• To acquire the benefit of a fellowship, applicants are required to complete the required qualifying degree with the needed percentage of marks within two years. And those who are unable to qualify this, their fellowship will not be considered.
• Those who hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or some other stream will be considered eligible for a CSIR fellowship after enrolling the Integrated Ph.D./ Ph. D. program within the relevant period of 2 years.

CSIR NET Exam 2024 Exam Pattern:

• Mode: The mode of the Exam will be online (CBT).
• No. of Paper: There will be two papers i.e, Paper-I & Paper-II.
• Types of Questions: The exam will consist of objective-type questions (MCQ).
• No. of Questions: There will be 50 questions in Paper I and 100 questions in Paper II.
• Duration: The Duration of Paper-I will be 1 hour & Paper-II will be 2 hours.
• Medium: The medium of the paper will be English and Hindi.
• Marking Scheme: 2 marks will be given for each correct answer.
• Negative marking: There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

UGC NET 2024 Syllabus:

Paper I:

Paper-I contains questions of generic nature, intending to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the students. This paper will test the candidate’s knowledge in reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness.

Paper-II:

Paper-II contains various topics from the subjects selected by the candidates. The topics will be related to the bachelor’s and Masters’s level UGC NET Syllabus.

CSIR NET Admit Card:

All the aspirants of the CSIR NET Exam 2024 can download the Admit Card from the official website i.e. www.csirhrdg.res. All the candidates can get their Admit Card by entering their credentials, like – Application form number and the date of birth as registered on the certificates. There will be no such provision for sending a copy of the admit card. All the candidates should carry the Admit Card to the examination center. Check for all keen details and contact the examination cell if you find any mistake in it.

Steps to Download CSIR NET Admit card:

• Visit the Official website of CSIR NET 2024 i.e, https://csirnet.nta.nic.in
• On the homepage click on ‘Download Admit card’
• A new page will open, enter the Application No & Date of birth.
• Then click on ‘Submit’
• Download & print the Admit card.

CSIR NET Result:

The result will be published on the official website, Candidates can check their results in December for the June session. You can find the date here when the authority releases the result. After the result is announced, selected candidates can apply for the post of a junior-level research fellowship and assistant lecturer.
