CUEE Exam 2022CUEE 2022: Centurion University Entrance Examination or the CUEE is an entrance level examination at the National level. It was organized by the Centurion university that is located in Odisha. This university is responsible for conducting entrance level examinations every year for students who are interested to get admission for the various B.Tech programs, B. Sc courses, and also the B.Tech lateral entry. This examination is mostly conducted in the last week of April.

CUEE Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

  • In order to apply for B.tech, you will have to score a minimum of 30 marks in the CUEE or 65 marks in EAMCET or JEE mains.
  • The candidates will have to get more than 50% in class X and the Class XII examination. This is applicable for the candidates belonging to Odisha and Kolkata.
  • If the candidate is from Telangana or AP then he or she needs to get more than 80% in class X and class XII examination.
  • The candidates belonging to the other states should get a minimum of 60% in the aggregate

CUEE 2022 Application Form:

The candidate can fill up an application form both online and offline.

Online Application Forms:

  • The online forms are published in the official website of the Centurion university
  • Tentatively these forms will be available from the month of January in 2022.
  • Before submitting the application form, the candidate will have to pay the examination fee
  • The scanned documents including the signature and the photo of the candidate will also have to be uploaded. This will have to be in the JPEG format.
  • Before submitting the application form, do check if you have put in all the details correctly to avoid any mistakes in the form.
  • For future reference, the candidate will have to take a print of the application form.

The steps for filling up the application form online are mentioned below:

In order to fill up the application form, the candidate will have to follow the steps given below:

  • The candidate will first have to visit the official website of the university
  • In the Home tab, the candidate will get an option that says, “Apply Online.
  • The candidate will have to click on it
  • The application fee has to be then paid using the debit or the credit card or through net banking
  • Finally the application form has to be filled up online with the necessary details

Offline Application form:

In order to fill up the application form offline, the candidate will have to first download the form from the website. After that, the candidate will have to fill up this form. The application forms will also be available in the admission offices of Pokhariput, Jatni, Paralakhemundi, and the Bhubaneswar campuses of the University. Once you fill up the application form, you will have to send the hard copy of this form along with Rs. 250 drawn in favor of the CSREM Trust payable at Bhubaneswar. The candidate will also have to send  these documents in the address given below:

Application Fee:

The application fee for all students is Rs. 250 and the payment will have to be done either through net banking or through debit or credit cards.

Exam Pattern:

Before appearing for the examination, it is necessary for the candidate to know about the examination pattern in detail. The examination pattern will give you a clear picture of how this examination will be conducted. Here you will also get the details regarding the mode of the examination, the various type of questions, etc.

  • This is an offline examination
  • The candidate will get 3 hours to complete this examination
  • The medium of the language is English
  • The candidate has to answer objective and multiple-choice questions
  • The various sections of the examination include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  • The total number of questions will be 180
  • For each correct answer, the candidate will get 1 mark and there will be no negative marking

Syllabus:

The syllabus will mainly cover the topics that were covered in the previous examination. The university does not provide any official syllabus for the examination. The subjects that have to be covered are English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. These will be from the class XI and XIIth standard.

Admit Card

The candidates who are eligible and have already registered will be able to download the admit card from the official website of the university. The admit card is a very important document for identification and it contains the venue of the examination. Here you will also get the details of the candidate that include the name, the timings, and other things. In order to download the admit card, the candidate will have to follow the steps given below:

  • The candidate will first have to submit the registration number
  • After this the candidate will have to click on submit
  • The admit card will be there on the screen. The candidate will then have to download the admit card and then take a print

Result:

The university results will be declared online. In order to check the scores, they have received through the result. The rank card will be sent individually through email or SMS. The authorities will allot seats based on the result.

Cut Off:

In order to qualify for further rounds, the candidates will have to get minimum qualifying marks. Once the results are declared, the authority will be declaring the final cut off marks. The students who qualify will be called for the counseling session and the final admission process. The cut off marks will be based on the following factors:

  • The number of candidates who have registered for the examination
  • The total number of candidates who finally appeared for the examination
  • The level of difficulty
  • The cut-off marks of the previous year
  • Total number of seats available
  • Marking scheme
