CUET 2024 is the first-ever mandated common entrance test for all 47 Central Universities’ undergraduate programmes. Admission to undergraduate courses at Central Universities will be exclusively based on CUET 2024 results, with no consideration given to class 12th results. International students will be excluded from CUET 2024, and their admissions will be handled on a supernumerary basis. Universities are currently flexible in using the CUET 2024 scores for post-graduate programmes.
The major goal of the CUET test is to relieve students of the stress of obtaining UG admissions. 47 central institutions would accept Common University Entrance Test 2024 scores to fill around 1.8 lakh seats. According to the National Testing Agency, the Common University Entrance Test 2024 Exam will be held in different shifts over the course of seven days. Participating institutes will disclose their CUET cut-off scores separately. Different courses and categories will have different cutoffs.
The exam will be administered in a computer-based test mode, according to the CUET Exam Pattern 2024. Sections IA and IB of the CUET question paper will be language-based, Component II will be domain-specific, and Section III will be the general test section. Sections I and II will be quizzed on 40 questions each, while Section III will be quizzed on 60 questions. There are 27 subject choices in Section II, which are domain-specific.
CUET 2024 Application Form:
CUET 2024 application forms are released by the NTA on the official website. Eligible candidates seeking admission through Common University Entrance Test exam can fill out the application form on or before the last date of registration, ie, May 2024. Eligibility Criteria:
A total of ten universities are taking part in CUET 2024. Candidates must meet varied qualifying standards at each university. Common University Entrance Test 2024 provides three different types of courses. Candidates may apply to undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes. Common University Entrance Test Exam Pattern:
The following are the details for the CUET 2024 UG Exam Pattern:
- The examination will only include multiple-choice questions.
- Section I: Language-specific questions will be found in Sections IA and IB. These multiple-choice questions will be based on the reading from Reading Comprehension.
- Section II: This section will pose questions on domain-specific subjects.
- Section III: This portion has 60 questions from the following categories: general knowledge, current events, general mental ability, numerical ability, and quantitative reasoning.
- Section I is 45 minutes long, Section II is 45 minutes long, and Section III is 60 minutes long.
- Mode of the Exam: The exam will be administered in an online mode only.
- The difficulty level of the questions will be dependent on the 12th grade.

CUET 2024 PG Syllabus:
Candidates should be aware that the CUET Syllabus 2024 for each postgraduate programme may vary. The CUET Syllabus 2024 for Postgraduate Courses is divided into two parts:
- PART-A: There will be 25 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering English, General Knowledge, Mathematical Aptitude, and Analytical Skills.
- PART-B: 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) about the main subject.
CUET 2024 Admit Card:
The CUET 2024 admit card will be available online. The CUET admission card 2024 may be downloaded from the CUET’s official website by registered applicants.
