Before applying for the examination, the candidates are asked to read the eligibility criteria. The CULEE eligibility criteria let the candidates know about the academic qualification required to appear for the examination. The candidates will have to pass the class XII or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in any of the streams- Humanities, Commerce or Science from CBSE or any other recognized board. There is no age bar set for the students of law.

In order to fill up the CULEE Application Form, the candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below:
Once the application form is filled, the candidate will also receive an application number. You will have to save the number for future use. But in order to receive this application number, it is necessary for the candidate to make the fee payment. The candidate will have to take a print of the application form for future references.
The candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000 and this fee can be paid by the debit card, the credit card, or net banking.

The pattern of the examination will also be published on the website. This is an offline examination and the medium of language for this examination will be English. This examination will have the objective type of questions and there will be a total of 120 questions. The candidate will have to complete the paper within 2 hours. The candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The admit card for the CULEE session I and II will be published online. The candidates will be able to get access to the admit cards through their registered accounts. Before the candidate downloads and prints the admit card, it is necessary for him or her to check all the details. In case there are any errors, the candidates might have to get in touch with the examination officials for the process rectification. The admit card is a very important document and without it, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
The result will be published shortly after the examination. The results will be available for download in the official website. After the results are published, there will also be a merit list published by the website that will have the scores of the candidates. The candidates qualifying this examination will have to appear for counseling and interview.
