DCODE 2024: DCODE 2024 is a National-level Design Aptitude Test commenced every year by the Center of Design Excellence (CODE), Jaipur. DCODE or Centre For Design Excellence, Jaipur, was founded in 2016 is the constituent of Vivekananda Global University (VGU). This renowned institute was established by Rajasthan State Assembly Act. It has become one of the preferred institutes of Design & Architecture Education in the country. It offers several courses under the category of B.Des, M.Des, B.Des+MBA and B.Arch. In addition to this, the institute offers Diploma and PhD programs. The admission procedure takes place through an online application form. Selection of the applicants is done on the basis of marks attained in NATA, UCEED, and JEE Paper 2. An aptitude entrance exam named De-CODE exam also commenced for the candidate’s selection.

• Aspirant must have completed 3 to 4 years of Diploma in any stream with at least 50% aggregate marks.

• Arch in Architecture: Candidate must have completed Class XII with at least 50% aggregate marks. In addition to this, the applicant must be possessed with the relevant score in NATA/JEE Paper 2
• Des in Fashion & Textile, Interior & Product, UX (User Experience) – candidate must have completed Class XII with at least 45% aggregate marks and possessed with the relevant score in DCODE/UCEED
• To apply for B.Des+MBA in Fashion, Interior, UX, the candidate must have done 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate marks and have acquired relevant scores in DCODE
• To do a Diploma in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, it is mandatory to have completed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks
• If you want to apply for PhD in Architecture, Design, it is mandatory to have completed Master’s with at least 50% aggregate marks
• Voc in Graphic, Fashion, Interior requires applicant to have completed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks
• If you want to pursue M.Plan in Urban & Rural, you must be possessed with the B.Arch / B.Plan/ B.Tech Civil with at least 50% aggregate marks
• To apply for M.Des in Fashion Design, UX (User Experience), applicant must be attained with the B.Arch/B.Des/B.Tech with minimum 50% aggregate marks

DCODE exam is commenced to check the applicant’s aptitude and interest in the course of Design. The exam time duration is 3 hours which includes Aptitude and CAT (Creative Ability Test).
