Aspirants are asked to apply via online mode from the official website of Delhi High Court within the due date. Both Male & Female Candidates can apply for these posts. Candidates can initiate the process of filling the online application form from 3rd February 2022. All application forms must be submitted before 12th February 2022 by paying application fees as mentioned for different categories.

Application Fee:

Applicants have to pay a Delhi High Court Group C Recruitment 2022 application fee of Rs. 600/- with Applicable Transaction Charge and for ST and SC candidates the fee is Rs. 300/-. Applicants are ensured that this application fee is non-refundable.

Applicants must possess a Graduation Degree from any reputed University. They must be able to type more than 35 words within a minute by using computers. Candidates must be within 18 Years to 27 Years in order to apply for the recruitment.

Exam Pattern:

Candidates have to seat for four rounds in order to get selected for the post they have applied for. Even after qualifying all four rounds candidates to have to wait for the merit list published by the Delhi High Court.

  • First step is the Preliminary Round will be based on Objective type questions
  • 2nd Step is the Main round which will be based on written examination
  • Typing speed round(English)
  • Final round is the Interview session.
  • The Exam Will be Written Objective Type.
  • The time limit for the examination will be for 2 hours.
  • English will be the only medium for the Examination.
  • For each wrong answer, .25 Marks will be deducted.

There will be 120 questions in the examination which will be divided into three sections. 45 marks will be devoted for English Comprehension and Language, for General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning & Numeric Ability 30 marks will be there and the remaining 45 marks will be based on Current events & General Awareness.

Admit Card:

Applicants can avail of the admit card via online mode from January 2023. In order to download the admit card candidates have to provide their Login ID and password on the official website. Admit card is the most essential item which the candidate has to take into the examination hall along with them. It comprises various details regarding the applicant’s name, examination time & venue, date of birth, name of the examination and so on.

Syllabus:

In the preliminary round for English Comprehension & Language candidates needs to study One Word Substitution, Synonyms, Preposition, Fill in the Blanks, Spot the Error, Articles, Conversion into Direct I Indirect Narration, Idioms & Phrases, etc. For General Knowledge and Current Affairs candidates need to answer 30 questions on Sports & Games; Art & Culture, Indian History, politics, about Indian Constitution, Geography, Science in regular life, Eminent personalities, Varied inventions and so on. 15 questions from this section will be based on current affairs. For logical reasoning and numeric ability, candidates have to answer both non-verbal and verbal topics related to BODMAS, Simple & Compound Interest, Analogies, Ratio & Proportion, Time& Work, etc for 30 marks.

Candidates qualifying for the prelims will appear for the main written examination. For the mains, there will be two divisions in English. 1st part will comprise of letter writing and essay for 50 marks and in 2nd part there will be composition and grammar for 50 marks.

Only the candidates qualifying the Main Examination can attend the Typing Test in English. Typing Test will take place for 10 minutes where candidates have to type 35 words in English within 1 minute.

Candidates who will be successful in this English Typing Test will be asked to join the Interview session consisting of 25 marks.

Cut off:

For general category candidates, 60 out of 120 marks and for the reserved category the qualifying marks is 54 out of 120 is required to be eligible for the next round. For Ex-servicemen and PwD candidates 45% marks are desirable in the examination. Only the successful candidates will be called for the main examination.

Minimum qualifying marks for General candidates will be 50% and for candidates pertaining to Reserved Category, the qualifying marks will be 45% in the main examination.

Minimum qualifying marks or cut-off for General candidates in Interview round will be 12.5 and 11 marks for Reserved Category candidates which include PwD& Ex-servicemen as well.

No ’rounding off’ in respect of marks will be entertained at any step of the Examination. The final selection or merit list will be prepared by calculating the marks fetched by the candidates in all the steps of the examination.

The Delhi High Court Merit List 2022 will consist of the names and registration numbers of the candidates who have fetched maximum marks in the exam. Officials will announce the Merit List for Delhi High on the official website for the year 2022. So, all the candidates can go through the Delhi High Court Merit List to know their status in the examination

Result:
