Delhi Police Driver Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
Before applying for Delhi Police Driver Recruitment, make sure to check the eligibility criteria.
- Candidates must be citizens of India.
- The minimum age is 21 years and the Maximum age limit is 30 years.
- 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- The candidate must be able to drive confidently and must have Heavy Driving License. Besides, the applicant must know to handle the heavy vehicles.
Health Status:
- Applicant must possess good health
- The body must be free from Diseases/Defect/Deformity
- Better eye 6/6 without glasses.
- Eyes 6/12 without glasses & do not have color blindness
Physical Standards:
Delhi Police also conducts Physical Testing of the candidates after completing the written examination. The Delhi Police Driver PET/ PST Criteria are mentioned below. Check the Delhi Police Physical criteria for the post of driver.
Height:
- The minimum height should be 170 cm. However, 5 cms of relaxation to the applicant belonging to Hilly areas and ST category
Chest:
- Minimum chest size should be 81 cm and minimum expansion should be 4 cm. 5 cm relaxation to the candidate belonging to the resident of Hilly areas and ST category.
Selection Process:
The applicant will be selected based on a written examination, Physical Endurance Test, Physical Standard Test, Certificate Verification, and Trade Test. Applicants need to qualify the following steps:

Physical Criteria:
The applicant has to go through the physical test which is based on the performance in Race, Long Jump, and High Jump. Qualifying parameters for Physical are listed in this table.
- For ages up to 30 years, the candidate should be able to complete a 1600 Meter Race in 7 minutes. Long Jump of 12.5 Ft and High Jump of 3.5 Ft
- Candidates from the age group 30 to 40 Years should be able to complete 1600 Meter Race in 8 minutes. Long Jump of 11.5 Ft and High Jump of 3.25 Ft
- 40 + age group should be able to complete 1600 Meter Race in 9 minutes. Long Jump of 10.5 Ft and High Jump of 3.0 Ft
Exam Pattern:
- The computer based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
- The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type multiple choice paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
