Delhi Police Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
- To apply for constable, the candidate must have done class XII or X from the recognized board and must possess a valid Driving License for LMV.
- To apply for the post of head constable, the candidate must have successfully completed class XII from some government recognized board
- For Head Constable (Store Clerk/ Ministerial), the candidate must have completed class XII and should have knowledge of typing (30 WPM for English and 25 WPM for Hindi). In addition to this, a candidate must have the knowledge to manage Account & Office Procedure for Ministerial.
- To apply for Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer), the candidate must have done Graduation and have knowledge of Shorthand and Typing (80/40 WPM for English and 80/30 WPM for Hindi) In addition to this, knowledge of Account & Office Procedure must also be there.
- To opt for Sub Inspector (Executive Male), the candidate must be possessed with the degree of graduation along with a valid Driving License for LMV.
- To apply for Women Sub Inspector (Executive), a degree of graduation is a must.
Age Limit:
- Appropriate age to apply for the post of Constable (Executive Male) should be between 18 Years to 24 years
- Age should be between 18 Years to 25 years for Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) and same age for Constable Executive (Female)
- To apply for Sub Inspector (Executive Male), candidate’s age should be between 20 Years to 25 years and same age for Women Sub Inspector (Executive)
- Age-appropriate for Head Constable (Store Clerk) should be 20 Years to 27 years
- For Head Constable (Ministerial), candidate’s age should be between 18 Years to 25 years
Physical Standards for Head Constable:
- Post/Category Head Constable (Male) General and others should have 165 cm height
- Head Constable (Female) Gen/Others must have 157 cm height
- However, ST category male candidates will get relaxation of 5 cm and SC/ST women candidate will get relaxation by 5 cm.
- The chest size for males in Gen/Others category should be between 78cm-82cm. However, there will be a relaxation of 5 cm for ST category applicants.

Delhi Police 2022 Selection Process:
Candidates need to go through Physical Measurement Test, Driving Test, Written Test, Medical Test, and Physical Efficiency Test.
Details about Written Test for Head Constable:
- General Intelligence section comprises of 25 questions for 25 marks.
- English Language section comprises of 25 questions for 25 marks.
- Quantitative Aptitude section comprises of 20 questions for 20 marks.
- Computer Fundamentals, MS Word, MS Excel, etc section consisted of 10 questions for 10 marks.
- General Awareness section comprises of 20 questions for 20 marks.
Physical Endurance Test (PET) for Head Constable (Male):
- Age should be up to 30 years, competent to do 1600 Mts race in 07 Minutes, Long Jump 12’6” and High Jump 3’6”
- Above 30 to 40 years, competent to do 1600 Mts race in 08 Minutes, Long Jump 11’6” and High Jump 3’3”
- Above 40 years competent to do 1600 Mts race 09 Minutes, Long Jump 10’6” and High Jump 3
Female Candidates:
- Age Up to 30 Years, competent to do Race 800 Mts in 05 minutes, Long Jump 9 feet and High Jump 3 feet
- Above 30 to 40 years, competent to do Race 800 Mts in 06 Minutes, Long Jump 8 feet and High Jump 2’6”

Admit Card:
Those who have successfully submitted the application form will receive an admit card from the official website. Steps to seek admit card are as follows:
- Go to the “recruitment” tab.
- Choose “you can download admit card before your trade check date for the submit of MTS (civilian) in Delhi police-.
- Enter details such as registration or reg. Number, date of delivery, etc.
- Click the “move” button and you will be able to find Delhi police admit card.
- Take a print of the admit card.
- It is crucial to carry the print of the admit card at the exam venue. Along with this, also carry your photograph id, Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Identity Card issued by University/ College, Income Tax Pan Card

Cut-off:
The written exam consisted of 100 marks and those who have scored minimum qualifying marks will be selected in the merit list. The Minimum Qualifying Marks for Male applicants is 71% for Unreserved Category applicants, 68% for OBC category applicants and 65% for Scheduled Tribes applicants and 66% for Scheduled Caste category applicants and 62% for Ex-serviceman candidates.
