Doon School Admission 2024: The Doon School specializes in all boys boarding education for scholars aging from 12 to 18. The institute is perhaps the only ‘All India’ school with applications from practically every state each year, as well as from Indian folks who stay abroad. The institute was founded in 1935. The Doon School is one of the finest Indian schools. The Doon School is a complete boarding school for boys only and not simply a school that welcomes paying guests.

Doon School Admission 2024 Process:

Boys would have to take participate in an entrance test conducted in major metropolitan cities given below

• Bangalore
• Jaipur
• Kolkata
• Chennai
• Hyderabad
• Lucknow
• Mumbai
• Dehradun

The test would consist of 4 papers:

• English,
• Hindi,
• Mathematics
• General Knowledge.
• Hindi is the mandate language. Therefore, all boys must appear for paper in Hindi.

An exemption may be granted to students who haven’t studied Hindi 5 years prior to the application. Boys who pass the entrance exam are invited for a personal interview. The interviews usually take place one-month post conclusion of the examination in selected cities mentioned below

• Admission Fees:- Rs. 1,50,000/- (at the time of admission)
• Security Deposit:- Rs. 1,50,000/- (refundable)

Eligibility for Doon School Admission 2024:

Every year admissions are provided to eligible candidates only in the months of January and April. In the January month, the admissions are given to 8^th standard students (C form) and in the month of April, the admissions are given to 7^th standard students (D form).

• To get Admission in the 7th Standard: Students must be of 11 years of age and should be under 12th years of age as in September month of the entrance examination year.
• To get admission in the 8th Standard: the student should be of complete 12 years of age and should be under 13 years of age as of September month of the entrance examination year.

Syllabus:

The Doon School does not provide any formal examination syllabus. This is because the examination tests the subjects already being taught in comparable schools. The papers are designed to be accessible to boys from a variety of educational backgrounds, from CBSE to ICSE to IGCSE and state boards. However, guidelines for the mathematics examination have been prepared and are sent to all prospective parents. A complimentary copy of sample papers is also dispatched to familiarize the candidate and their parents with the pattern of the papers. These sample papers are also available from Mr. Kothari.

Admit Card:

Students appearing in the entrance exam must have the admit card handy.

Results:

To download the results follow the steps mentioned below

• Print out a hard copy of the same

Cut Off:

Those who clear the entrance test would be called for the interview there is no reservation or any criteria to categorize children there is no official Cut Off available and hence, the parents of selected students would be contacted accordingly.
