DSAT 2023 Application Form:

Candidates who are willing to seat for DSAT 2023 can submit their application forms through both online and offline methods. All candidates applying both via online or offline mode have to submit their forms along with the fees within the stipulated due date.

For Online Registration candidates need to go to the official website to apply for their desired course. Click the button for an online application form by registering with a valid email id and contact number. Complete the form by filling up with all the required information. Candidates further need to upload a jpeg format signature with a passport size photograph.

For Offline registration, candidates have to download the application form from the official website. They have to take a printed version of the same to apply for the entrance. Candidates need to submit the filled form with the application fees to the University.

DSAT Application Fees:

Candidates can pay their online application fees by registering on the official website. All category candidates have to submit Rs.1000/- as their application fee. Applicants availing the offline mode have to pay the fees to the university office. Candidates must follow the following steps to pay the application fees:

  • Candidates must log in to the official website.
  • Click the PAYMENT button.
  • HDFC Bank portal will appear only after clicking PROCEED TO ONLINE PAYMENT button.
  • Applicants need fees, state & city.
  • They need to type the name of the university.
  • After clicking the pay online button candidates need to process the application fees while registering the application number.
  • By using a credit or debit card payment of application fees can be completed.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • B.Tech: It is compulsory for all candidates to pass the ISCE/ CBSE/PUC/ 10+2 or correspondent examinations with Mathematics and Physics as enforced subjects with a minimum of 45% marks. The percentage requirement has also been reduced to 40% for aspirants belonging to reserved classifications in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Electronics and English as an obligatory subject.
  • BCA: All the candidates are required to pass in CBSE/ PUC/ ISCE/ 10+2 or correspondent examinations.
  • B.Sc: The aspirants must qualify senor secondary, American 12th grade, IB, A level or correspondent with English, Physics and Chemistry with any of the Life Science subjects as discretionary. A minimum score of 45% in aggregate with Chemistry, Physics and any one of the optional subjects is desirable.
  • BBA: The candidate must have qualified /CBSE/PUC / ISCE/ 10+2 or equivalent examination from any other distinguished board.
  • B.Com: The candidate must have qualified ISCE/PUC/ CBSE / 10+2 or a similar examination.
  • B.Pharm: Candidates who have passed PUC examination or similar examination under PUC board of Karnataka or an equivalent examination of any other official Board or University with at least 40% marks in PCB / PCM / PCMB,   Electronics, PC,  Computer science.
  • Pharm.D: The applicants must qualify in senor secondary examination with Chemistry and physics as obligatory subjects with either Mathematics or Biology.
  • B.Sc: The candidate must qualify for senior secondary examination or correspond with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English with 45% marks in aggregate.
  • B.Sc(PB): The candidate must qualify GNM after senior secondary with Science subjects and 50% marks in total are desirable.
  • BPT: The candidate must qualify for senior secondary examination or correspond with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English with 40% marks in aggregate.
  • BA Journalism: The candidate must have completed senior secondary examination with any reputed board.

Post Graduate Courses:

  • M.Tech: The candidate should have qualified BE/BTech with at least 50% marks in total.
  • M.Sc: A candidate with B.Sc. in any subjects related to Life Sciences, with at least 50% marks is eligible for admission to M.Sc. Eligibility shall be 45% in aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ST candidates.
  • MBA: The candidate must complete a Bachelor’s Degree from any renowned Board/University the candidates must have qualified with at least 50% marks in all three years of a degree course.
  • M.Pharm: Candidates must qualify B.pharm from an institution under the Pharmacy Council of India with at least 50% marks in total.
  • MPT: Candidates must qualify BPT from a renowned university with at least 50% marks in total. Candidates who fail to satisfy the DSAT Eligibility criteria will not be eligible to enroll for the DSAT 2023 Entrance.

DSAT 2023 Exam Pattern:

Applicants need to know the exam pattern in order to get themselves ready for the upcoming entrance exam. In different slots, DSAT 2023 will be conducted in April 2023. The medium to answer the questions is only English. Candidates need to answer 120 multiple choice questions in 2 hours. Aspirants can opt either for online or offline mode to answer the questions.

Dayananda Sagar Admission Test Syllabus:

DSAT 2023 curriculum is constructed on the 10th and 12th final year examination syllabus. There will be 100 marks objective questions for DSAT 2023.

Syllabus for undergraduate applicants

  • Mathematics: Linear Programming, Algebra, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Probability, Sets & Functions etc.
  • Physics: Laws of Motion,  Gravity, Oscillation of Waves, etc.
  • Chemistry: Basics of chemistry, Surface Chemistry, Hydrogen, State of Matter, Polymers, Classification of Elements.

Syllabus for postgraduate applicants

The DSAT 2023 curriculum for PG courses is generally from the undergraduate level which the candidate has already gone through with a supplementary section that examines an aspirants aptitude and general Knowledge in various areas related to

Admit Card:

The Admit Card for DSAT 2023 will be issued few days before the examination commences. Only the registered candidates will obtain the admit cards via online mode. Admit card is the most vital document which the candidate has to take into the examination center along with them. It includes varied details like candidate’s names, examination time & venue, date of birth, name of the examination, and so on.

Result:

DSAT 2023 Result will be announced in June 2023. The result will show the marks scored by the candidates. Merit list and cut off will be available on the official website within a few days after the result.
