DU JAT 2023: Delhi University commences Joint Admission Test. This is a national level entrance exam commenced every year for selecting applicants to provide admission in Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis), and BA (Hons) Business Economics programmes. DU JAT 2023 Application Form:

The application form of DU JAT 2023 will release in June and to apply for the examination, fill the application form by visiting the official website. Here are the steps to fill the application form:

  • Fill the application form in the online mode.
  • Now, create Login ID and Password to proceed further.
  • After creating Login ID and Password fill the form with personal and academic details.
  • Now, pay the application fee.
  • The application fee is according to category and number of courses.
  • Applicants can use the “Save and Logout” option to fill the form.
  • Candidates can save the same form and can use it again and submit the payment.
  • Once the payment is done, there are no chances to make editing in the application form.
  • Once the fee is submitted, an Acknowledgement Slip will be generated.
  • Take the print of the acknowledgment slip and carry it to the exam center.

Application Fee:

Once the form is filled, submit the Application fee as per the category. Check the details below:

  • General & OBC Category: Rs. 750
  • SC, ST, PwD, and EWS: Rs. 300

Eligibility Criteria:

It is important for applicants to check the eligibility criteria before applying for DU JAT 2023. Here are the relevant details:

  • Candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Those who have completed their senior secondary Exam from CBSE or any other recognized board may also apply.
  • Those who are in their final exam and waiting for the result may also apply.
  • Candidates must clear each subject with no gap year.
  • SC/ST category applicants will be given relaxation of 5%
  • OBC category shall be given relaxation in the qualifying exam to the extent of 10%
  • PwD category will be given relaxation of 5%.
  • CW category will be given relaxation of 5%

Exam Pattern:

Candidates are suggested to check the examination pattern of DU JAT 2023 given below:

  • The exam will be commenced in the offline mode.
  • Candidates need to solve 100 Multiple Choice Questions.
  • The Paper will consist of 4 sections – Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, and Analytical Ability, General English and Business, and General Awareness.
  • The Paper will be for 120 minutes.

Admit Card:

The admit card of the DU JAT 2023 examination will be released by the University of Delhi two or three weeks prior to the exam date. Download the admit card from the official website of NTA. Candidates are suggested to keep the admit card safely till the admission process comes to an end. Besides this, it is the most important document to carry along during the exam.

Steps to download Admit Card:

  • First, log in with the registration ID and password
  • Now, enter the required information.
  • Now, check the admit card and take the printout for further reference.
  • Carry the print of the admit card along with the Government ID proof

Answer Key:

The answer key will be released two to three years later after the exam gets over. It will be found on the official website of Delhi University. In case, you do not agree with the answer key then send an email to change the answer accordingly.

Result:

The result will be declared on the official website in the online mode. After the result, there will be a selection process based on the percentage scored in the DU JAT and the percentage scored in the qualifying exam in the ratio of 65:35 respectively. The final ranks for college and course will be allotted in July month.

Counseling:

Those who are in higher rank will appear for counseling in the first round. After the first round gets over, a new Cutoff list will be released. Applicants having names in the Cutoff list will appear for the next round of Counseling. The same process will continue till the seats are filled.
