The application process will begin through the official website https://www.esic.nic.in/. Applicants need to apply for the exam before the last date. Check the step-by-step process:
- First, go to the official website of Employees State Insurance Corporation @esic.nic.in
- Go on the Home Page and click on the option reading- “Apply Online for Recruitment to the post of UDC/MTS/Steno in ESIC”

ESIC UDC Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

For MTS:

Steno:
- Candidates must have cleared class XII or equivalent from the recognized Board or University
- The age limit should be between 18 to 27 years as of 15th February 2023
Skill Test:
Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute and Transcription: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) The skill test will held on a computer.

Exam Pattern:
The examination pattern for Phase-I & Phase-II Examination for Upper Division Clerk & Multi Tasking Staff is similar. However, no skill test in the Multi-Tasking Staff recruitment process conducted.
- The preliminary exam has to be cleared.
- The scores attained in the Mains Exam will take you further to the final selection.
- There will deduction of one-fourth mark for each incorrect answer.
- There will be Multiple Choice Questions in both the phases-Phase-I & Phase-II.

Stenographer Exam Pattern:
The Exam Pattern for Stenographer will be divided into two stages-Objective types online tests & Skill tests.
Phase-1 Main Examination
- English Language & Comprehension: 100 questions for 50 marks
- Reasoning Ability: 50 questions for 50 marks
- General Awareness: 50 questions for 50 marks
Phase-2 Skill Test:
Those who clear the Main examination will next appear in the Skill test. The applicants will be given a dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi (as selected by the candidates in the Online Application Form) which he/she has to complete within the given time limit.

Syllabus:
The foremost important thing while preparing for the entrance test is to have complete knowledge of the syllabus. The syllabus comprises General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
