FDDI AIST 2023FDDI AIST 2023: FDDI stands for Footwear Design and Development Institute that aims at selecting eligible candidates through FDDI AIST 2023 or FDDI All India Selection Test. This is a university-level examination commenced to shortlist the candidates for seeking admission into several courses that come under UG and PG levels. Some of the courses are inclusive of B.Des, BBA (Retail & Fashion Merchandise), MBA (Retail & Fashion Merchandise), etc. Overall, there will be a 3075 number of seats on various campuses. Eligibility Criteria:

Find below FDDI AIST 2023 Eligibility Criteria for For Undergraduate Programs & Post Graduate Programs:

For Undergraduate Programs:

  • The maximum age limit of the candidate to apply for the UG program is 25 Years as of 25th June 2023.
  • The candidate must have successfully completed class XII.
  • Those who are appearing in 10+2 are also eligible to apply.

For Post Graduate Programs:

  • There is no age limit to apply for PG programs
  • Educational Qualification for M. Des.- Footwear Design & Production: candidate must have successfully completed graduation in Footwear / Engineering / LGAD / Design / Production / Technology or some other related programme.
  • Educational Qualification for M.Des- CAD: Candidate must have successfully completed graduation in Footwear / LGAD / Production / Design / Engineering / Technology/Fine arts or another related program.
  • Educational Qualification for M.B.A (Retail & Fashion Merchandise): candidate must have been a graduate in any discipline to apply.

Exam Pattern:

  • The exam duration will be Two and a half hours.
  • Questions will be asked in two languages – English and Hindi.
  • Questions will be based on MCQ
  • There will be 200 questions overall.

For UG Programme:

  • Section A will consist of a Quantitative Aptitude for 50 marks.
  • Section B will consist of Verbal Ability for 50 marks.
  • Section C will consist of General Awareness for 50 marks.
  • Section D will be consisted of Business Aptitude Test SectionD (BAT) for B.Des- RFM or Design Aptitude Test(DAT) for Design Programmes (B.Des-FDP, B.Des-LGAD & B.Des-FD) for 50 marks.

For PG Programme:

  • Section A will consist of a Quantitative Aptitude for 50 marks.
  • Section B will consist of English Comprehension & Analytical Ability for 50 marks.
  • Section C will consist of General Knowledge & Current Affairs for 50 marks.
  • Section D will have consisted of Management Aptitude for Management Programmes for MBA-RFM or Design Aptitude Test (DAT) for Design Programmes M.Des-FDP & M.Des-CAD for 50 marks.

Marking Scheme:

  • Each question will be comprised of 1 mark.
  • There will be no negative marking for an incorrect answer.

Admit Card:

The Admit card needs to be uploaded to the official website. This card comprises details like the date, time and center of the entrance examination. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a hard copy of the admit card along with a photograph at the examination center. Candidates are required to carry this card at the exam center along with valid identity proof like Passport/ Voter’s ID Card/ Driving license/ Identity Card.

Exam Result:

The result of the FDDI All India Selection Test will be announced through the official website. This list will be created on the basis of the score acquired by the candidate in AIST 2023. Those who prepare the merit list will be next called for FDDI AIST 2023 Counselling.

Counselling:

  • After the result declaration, chosen candidates will be provided with the programme & campus-based on the rank achieved and preference. The successful candidate will be called for counseling in order of rank.
  • Admission to the courses is entirely based on the basis of merit and counseling/admissions will continue until all seats get filled up.
  • Candidates called for the counseling will be more than a number of seats.
  • Selected candidates need to appear for the counseling process in person with all the relevant documents.
