Gauhati University B.Ed 2023: Gauhati University B.Ed. the course is a 2 years program, also known as the secondary B.Ed.(Bachelor of education). It is a 2 years undergraduate teaching program, which provides the graduates with excellent student handling techniques and teaches them the fundamentals of the teaching and learning process at the higher secondary education (10+2) level. Those candidates who passed the CET (common entrance test), can get admission into the 2 years B.Ed program. Gauhati University B.Ed 2023 Exam is conducted by the Dibrugarh University on the behalf of the State Council of Higher Education (SCHE).

Gauhati University B.Ed 2023 Application Form:

To apply at Gauhati University, candidates need to wait for the month of May. The Online Registration as well as Application Form submission will commence in the same month. The entire process will be an online process, so go through the details carefully before applying. Here are the important instructions to apply:

• Visit the online portal www.dibru.online for registration by entering the Full Name, User Name, Password and Mobile Number. All these details will help to login.
• Once the account is created, fill out the online Application Form with apt details.
• Make sure to pay the Application Fee of Rs. 700/- via online mode. You can choose any one mode from Debit Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking etc.
• It is a Must to save and review the information entered in the application form. If you want to make any alterations, do at the same time because later you cannot make any changes.
• Take a note, submission of the online application forms will get automatically closed after the last date.

Important Note: The eligibility shall be not verified by the University of a candidate at the time of receiving their Application Forms and issuing Admit Card to them. The candidates not fulfilling the minimum eligibility shall not be debarred from appearing the B.Ed. CET, 2019. Also, their candidature shall not be considered at the time of admission under Dibrugarh University and its affiliated colleges. Hence, the intending candidates are advised to ensure their minimum eligibility criteria at the time of admission into the B.Ed. Programme.

Eligibility Criteria:

• For Gauhati University B.Ed 2023 course candidates should have passed graduation (any subject) with at least 50% marks from a recognized university or institution.
• For B.Ed. course candidates’ minimum age is 19 years.
• Applying for B.Ed. course candidates should have a domicile certificate of Assam state issued by the competent authority.
• Age relaxation and reservation for SC/ST/ Minorities/PWD is given as per state government rule.
• If a candidate has 5 years of working experience as a teacher up to the 10^th standard then the candidate will be given relaxation of 5% percent in aggregate marks.

Exam Pattern:

• Type of questions:- There shall be multiple choice question /objective type questions.
• A number of questions: – The examination paper shall contain 70 questions.
• Total marks: – The question paper shall be of 70 marks in total.
• Duration of exam: – The question paper will be of 1.5 hours (90 minutes).
• Marking scheme: – One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Exam mode: – Exam will be done through offline mode.
• A number of sections: -Five. There shall be five sections in the question paper.

Exam Syllabus:

• General knowledge: Current Affairs (India &International), local general knowledgeofAssamstate, computer (internet, memory, networking, fundamentals and keyboard shortcuts)
• General English: word association, reading comprehension, fill in the blanks, spelling errors, vocabulary, phrase replacement, error detection, column-based fillers
• Reasoning: blood relation, seating arrangements, direction sense, puzzle, inequalities, logical reasoning, coding-decoding, syllogism.
• Numerical ability: time and work, average, age, percentage, distance, boat & stream, data analysis, profit and loss, pipe and cistern, data interpretation, permutation, combination and probability.
• Teaching aptitude: classroom behavior, teacher-pupil relationship in class perspective, understanding teaching-learning process, teacher roles in the classroom, teaching (nature, factors, objective and steps in teaching)

Admit Card:

Applicants may download their admit card through the official website dibru.ac.in in the month of June.

Result:

The result of the Gauhati University B.Ed program shall be made available on the official website at the end of the month of July. The candidate may see their marks by entering the registration number or roll number.

Answer Key:

 The declaration date of the answer key will be notified after the examination is over. Once the answer key is released it can be checked on the official website.

Cut Off:

Cut off is decided by the university and candidates qualifying the cut off will allow proceeding to counselling process and will secure their seat in B.Ed. colleges
