Pantnagar University Application Form 2023:

Application Form documents:

- Copy of Mark sheet of the qualifying examination.
- Image Specifications: Candidates would have to upload their photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression in the application form.
Left-hand thumb impression:
- Left-hand thumb on a blank sheet of white paper in black ink.
- Scan the Image to upload it
- Dimensions 140X60 pixels
- Size should not be more than 10kb – 20 kb.
Signature:
- Place your signature on white paper in blue or black ink.
- The signature would be placed on the admit card of the candidate, it must match, or the student would be disqualified.
- Place your signature in a selected block on the paper.
- Dimensions 200X230 pixels
- Size should not be more than 10kb – 20 kb.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates need to fulfill the requirements. Note that, interested MCA aspirants need to fill a separate form if they are enthusiastic to apply to other master programs, offered by the University.
- For B.Tech. Courses: Should have appeared and qualified for JEE Main 2019. Admissions would be solely done on this basis.
- For the Master’s Programme in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology: Candidates Should have appeared and cleared the JNU entrance examination for the same.
- For Ph.D. Programs in Agronomy and Plant Pathology: Should have appeared and qualified for the ICAR entrance examination.
- For Master Programmes in MBA/ MBA (Agribusiness): Should have appeared and qualified for the CAT and CMAT score and Group Discussion and an Interview conducted by the University.
- For M.Tech. Programmes: GATE qualifying marks in the subject (Major) in which admission is sought would be considered, then B.Tech result marks. For other State candidates, ICAR entrance test marks would be considered.
- For MCA Programme: GBPUAT would be conducting a university-level entrance exam. Interested candidates should clear this exam.

Exam Pattern:
The exam Pattern differs for different courses. Candidates need to study the Exam Pattern carefully for their preparation. Following is the Exam Pattern as per last year details:
Marking Scheme: For all the programs (Ph.D., MASTERS, AND UNDERGRADUATES) 3 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

Applicants have to prepare for the examination according to the course of the above-mentioned classes. Candidates are advised to study this course at a slightly higher level for more realistic results. The candidates should prefer perfect study material for the preparation for the exam. Admit Card:
Admit Cards can be downloaded online from the legitimate internet site suing Candidate’s name, Date of Birth and Registration number. No separate admit IDs will be issued with the aid of the Coordinator Admissions by way of post. Admit Card ought to be delivered on the day of Examination, as no entry is accredited besides legitimate Admit Card. GBPUAT Result:

- For Ph.D. If marks secured through two or greater candidates are the same, the end result would be determined on the foundation of marks secured in the preceding examination.
- For Masters In the case of two or greater candidates securing equal marks the result shall be determined on the foundation of marks secured in the Aptitude Test and then the qualifying exam.
- For Undergraduate In the match of two or greater candidates securing equal marks, the end result shall be determined on the foundation of marks secured in Mental Agility and Physics, Chemistry and thereafter in the exam.
Reservation:
The seat not filled through candidates of reserved categories in Ph.D. programs only shall be converted to General Category seats and filled up accordingly

Counseling

- It is recommended to reach the venue to attend the counseling process at the scheduled date and time.
- Those who fail to appear at the allotted time and date will be given the chance towards the end of the day.
