Goa SET 2024: The Goa State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024 exam is conducted for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in different state universities of Goa. The exam is conducted in online mode. The authority in charge of organizing and monitoring this test is Savitribai Phule Pune University. Only the top 6% of all individuals who apply will be chosen for admission. Before completing the application form, candidates must ensure that they are eligible.

Goa SET 2024 Application Form:

The application form for the Goa SET examination 2024 will be available solely online. The exam administration will not make any printed application forms available in offline mode. Those interested in applying should follow the processes outlined below.

• To begin, go to the Savitribai Phule University’s official website, https://setexam.unipune.ac.in.
• Before completing the real Application Form, you must first complete a user registration form containing information such as your legitimate e-mail address, password, and so on.
• Following registration, you may log in with the username and password you created in the previous stage.
• The main application form will now appear on your screen.
• You must fill out your entire educational, personal, and contact information in the primary application form.
• Then, in JPEG/JPG format, upload images of your scanned photograph and signature.
  • Photograph – Maximum file size of 50 KB
  • Signature – Maximum file size of 30 KB
• After completing the application form, you must pay the appropriate application cost online.
• Finally, print at least two copies of the confirmation page and the fee receipt.
• The application form should not be printed and forwarded to any Co-ordinating Center or the SET Department at Savitribai Phule Pune University in Pune.

Application Fee:

The application fees vary depending on the candidate’s category.

• Candidates from the open category – Rs. 800/-
• SC/ ST/ PwD/ – Rs.650
• Mode of Payment – Examination fees must be paid via a debit card, credit card, or net banking. Once paid, examination fees are non-refundable.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates seeking recruitment for the position of Assistant Professors must fulfill the Goa SET 2024 eligibility criteria set by the conducting body.

Candidates must verify that they fulfill the qualifying requirements listed below.

• Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree from a university accredited by the U.G.C.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 55% in their Master’s or equivalent test (without gracing or rounding off).
• Candidates from the OBC/ SBC/ DT (VJ)/ NT [non-creamy layer] and SC/ ST/ Trans-genders/ PwD categories must have at least 50% marks (without gracing or rounding off) in a Master’s or equivalent examination.
• There is no maximum age.
• Candidates from other states (other than Maharashtra and Goa) who fall into a reserved category would be considered a General Category under the Maharashtra and Goa reservation policies.

Exam Pattern:

To do well in the test, you need to be familiar with and comprehend the Goa SET Exam 2024 Pattern.

• The examination is conducted through offline mode (OMR Sheet Based Test)
• There will be two papers (Paper – I and Paper – II)
• There will be a total of 150 questions.
• The duration of the examination is 3 hours (1 hour for paper – I and 2 hours for paper – II)
• The questions will be asked in the multiple-choice format.
• Each question will carry 2 marks
• There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Admit Card:

Goa SET 2024 admit cards are released a few days before the exam on the official website. Registered candidates will be able to download their admit cards using their application number and date of birth. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their admit cards to the exam center. Following are the steps to download Goa SET Admit Card:

• The information submitted by the applicants in the entrance test will be used to generate the hall ticket/admit card.
• The admission card will be made available online roughly 10 days before the examination date on the university’s official website.
• Candidates must enter their login ID and password to see their admission card. Remember that admission cards will not be mailed to candidates.
• Candidates must download the admission card and take a printout of it.
• On the day of the test, applicants must bring their admit card as well as one picture ID evidence (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, etc.).

Result:

• After the examination, officials will post the answer key on the official Goa SET 2024 website. First, the preliminary answer key will be made available on the official website. Candidates will be able to file objections against the provisional answer keys. After taking into account the students’ objections, the final answer key will be published.
• The Goa SET 2024 examination results will be available on the official website. Note that the final answer keys will be used to prepare the results. Based on the result, selected candidates will be called for the interview round by participating colleges.
