Gujarat TET 2023: The Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test or GTET is the teaching level entrance test, managed by the Board of Secondary Education Gujarat (BSEG) for recruiting teachers in State Government Schools. Gujarat TET 2023 Application Form:

• Candidates can collect Gujarat TET 2023 Application Form from the month of October to get the post of primary and upper primary level teachers in the various government schools. Fill the application form via online mode by using the official website.
• Once you visit the official website, go to the webpage of the Board of Secondary Education Gujarat (BSEG).
• Click the link of the Application Form available on the official webpage.
• Fill all the required details in the Application Form.
• Upload the scanned documents like signature and latest passport size photograph.
• Make a payment of the application fee via online mode using Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card.
• Fill the unique OTP number which is sent to your registered mobile number and take the print out of Application Form for further use.

Application Fee Info:

• Those who belong to General/OBC category will make a payment of INR 350.
• Those who belong to SC/ST category will make payment of INR 250.
• You can make payment via online mode using Internet Banking and Debit Card/Credit card.

Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility of Primary Teachers Level (I-V):

Candidate must have successfully completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks.

Those who are appearing in the final 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education can also apply.

Upper Primary Teachers Level (VI-VIII):

Candidate must have successfully completed B.Sc or B.A. or those who appear in the final 2-year B.A. / D.Ed. /B.Sc. with 45 percent marks or cleared/ appearing in B.Ed / Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and must have passed or appearing in a 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed for Paper-II can also apply.

Exam Pattern:

The Gujarat TET comprises of 2 papers, Paper-I for Primary Teachers Level and Paper-II for Higher Primary Teachers Level. Given below is the exam pattern for a clear view to the candidates.

• Exam Duration: 90 minutes.
• Paper 1 will consist of various subjects, questions & marks which are mentioned below:
• Child Development & Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Environment Studies will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Language II will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Mathematics will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Paper-II will consist of various subjects, questions & marks which are mentioned below:
• Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks.

(i) For Mathematics and Science Teacher

• Mathematics and Science are subjects .

(ii) For Social Studies and Science Teacher Social Science:

• For any other Teacher Either (i) or (ii)
• There will be 60 questions for 60 marks.
• Language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Language II will have 30 questions for 30 marks.

Gujarat TET Syllabus:

For TET-1

• Principle of Child development and education.
• Reseasoning ability, Logical Ability, Teaching Aptitude & data interpretation

For TET-2

• Child development & Pedagogy.
• General Knowledge (GK), Current Affairs.
• Social Science including History, Geography, Civics & Economics.

Admit Card:

To get the admit card, use the official website of the Board of Secondary Education Gujarat (BSEG) and those who have successfully submitted their Application Form can download the admit card. Download the admit card by submitting the registration number as well as the date of birth in the required field. You will take print of the admit card as there is no proviso of sending the admit card via post.

Answer Key:

The answer key will be provided on the Board of Secondary Education Gujarat (BSEG) so that applicants can check the answer key mentioned on the official website and can download it. It is easy for them to match their answers with the main answers to the question asked in the exam. It will be comfortable for them to calculate and estimate the marks.

Exam Result:

Get the exam result on the official website of the Board of Secondary Education Gujarat (BSEG). Candidates can check their results by submitting the admit card number in the required field. No separate scorecard will be provided to the candidates. Exam results will show the candidate’s Name, marks /Score roll number, exam center, and other information.
