Haryana LEET 2023: Haryana LEET examination conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). They provide admission for lateral entry in the engineering courses B.tech and BE. The examination is based on the online mode. Admission will be taken on the basis of the total marks scored in the entrance test. Candidates can take admission in the 2nd or 3rd year of the engineering programs. The registration process for another course like B. Pharma has been also started. Haryana LEET 2023 Application Form:
The Haryana LEET 2023 Application Form will be released in the month of April on the official website. It can be filled till May month. There are the following steps that have to be followed during the form filling.
- Candidates can register with name and mobile number. After that, you will get the registration number and password.
- By login with all credentials, you will get the application form.
- Fill all the details about yourself, qualifications, etc.
- Then upload a scanned signature and passport size photograph.
- Pay application fees through an online medium.
- Check all details and then finally submit it.
- Candidates can take a printout of the application form for further need.
Application Fees:
The application fees for the category wise is given below
- For general category students- Rs. 500/-
- For All reserved Category students-Rs. 200/-
Fees Paying medium: Candidates can pay application fees via online through a Debit card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking. Also, it can be pay by making E-Challan through Punjab Bank and Axis Bank. Application fees are not refundable in any condition.
Eligibility Criteria:
Those students who are interested to apply for the examination are suggested to check eligibility criteria carefully. Eligibility criteria are given below:
- Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 45% marks for the General category or 40% marks for reserved category from Haryana State Board or equivalent Board.
- For B.Sc. course candidates must have clear 12th from recognize Board with minimum 45% mark for general category students and 40% marks for all Reserved category. Mathematics is a compulsory subject in both streams.
- There is one seat reserved for the Kashmiri migrants in each institution.
- For Kashmiri migrants, candidates must have an original migration certificate attested by the official authority.

Exam Pattern:
The examination will take place online medium. The question paper will be divided into 4 sections. Each section carries 90 questions. Multiple Choice Questions will be there. The total time duration of the examination is 90minutes. For each correct answer, you will get one mark and zero marks for unattempted questions. There is no negative marking in the examination. The detailed pattern of the question paper is given below:
- Section A- Maths(8), Physics(8), Chemistry(3), Communication skills(3),General Awareness(3)
- Section B- Elements of electrical engineering(9), Elements of electronic engineering(8), Elements of computer engineering(8)
- Section C- Elements of Mechanical engineering(8), Elements of production Engg/manuf process(6), Auto engineering(6)
- Section D- Civil engineering(5), Textile engineering(5), Chemical/ Printing engineering(2), Ceramic engineering(2), Food technology(2) and others(4).

Section-1
- Maths- Elementary operations, Parabola, Differentiation of a function, Maxima and Minima, Arithmetic, Harmonic Progression, Geometric, Ellipse and Hyperbola, Partial Differentiation, Binomial expansion, Definite and Indefinite Integration etc.
- Physics- Newton’s law of motion, Units and Dimensions, Motion in one and two Dimensions, Properties of matter, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Waves and Vibrations, Geometric optics, Heat and Temperature, Simple optical instruments, Laser etc.
- Chemistry- Acidity, Ionization, Types of Hardness, Hard and soft water, PH value, Basicity, Definition of symbol, formula, valency and chemical equation, Equivalent weight etc.
- Communcation skill- Tenses, Voice, Proposition, Words, Synonyms and Antonyms, Correction, Correction of incorrect sentences, Narration, Communication technique Grammatical etc.
- General Awareness- Current affairs related questions, Haryana State based questions like total number of districts/Tehsils/Blocks/Villages/ Name of CM/Governer/ Population/ history of Haryana/Name of Ministers etc.

- Electrical Engineering- Kirchhoff’s laws and Faraday’s Laws, EMF, AC Circuits, Electrical and Mangnetic Circuits, RMS Value, Transformers, Induction Motors, Series and parallel, Constructions and operations DC generator and motor etc.
- Electronic Engineering- Ammeters, Measurements and Instruments, Voltmeters, Accuracy, Errors, Communication system, Elcetronics, LED, Zener diode, CRO, Analog Electronics, Photodiode, Oscilllators, Regulated power, Amplifiers, DIAC, TRIAC,SCR, Digital Elcetronics, Boolean algebra, Flipflop, logic gates etc.
- Computer Engineering- Fundamentals of computers, languages, Hard wires, OS, Programming, Networking etc.
Section- 3
- Mechanical Engineering- Strenght of materials, Applied Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mode of Heat and its transfer etc.
- Production Engineering- Workshop Technology, Working Principle, Material Science, Graphics Engineering, Industrial management etc.

SECTION-4
- Civil Engineering- Basic of Ecology, Water requirement, Types of foundation, Introduction of bricks, raw material etc
- Textile Engineering, Chemical and Printing Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, food Technology, Agriculture, Architecture, Fashion Design and Technology etc.
Admit Card:
Candidates can get Admit Card from the official website(hstes.org.in) of the University. It can be download by using personal credentials. You will have to carry admit card with you at the time of the entrance exam because without it one should not be allowed in the entrance hall. You also have to carry identity proof along with admitting card.
Result:
The result of the examination will be released online after the examination in the month of July. It will be released on the online medium at the official website. You can download by using your roll number or entering your Date of Birth. After checking the result you will get to know your qualifying status of the exam and then you will be able to appear in the counseling.
Selection/ Counselling:
After the examination merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks scored by the individual in the entrance examination. After the analysis of everyone’s marks the total cut-off marks will be released and on the basis of that merit list will be prepared for the selected candidates. Selected candidates call for the online counseling process conducted by the official authority. There is a total of three rounds of the counselling take place. The seat you will get on the basis of performance in the examination. To appear in the counselling you need to pay a fee online. After the whole process, you will have to pay the admission fee and get admission to the college.
