HCS 2023: Eligibility Criteria

• The Aspirants must hold graduation in any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce, and technical subject) from a recognized university.
• Aspirants’ age limit must be between 18 to 42 years for making the application.
• For the post DSP, the age limit is 21 to 42 years as on or before 1st January of the exam year.
• Aspirants should also meet the physical standards for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police.
• The height of the male Aspirants must be 170.18 cm, chest should be 82.82 cm” and expansion up to 87.63cm” required for the post of DSP.
• The female Aspirant’s height must be 157.50 cm for this post.

Selection Process:

The selection process of HCS 2023 includes the following stages:

• Preliminary Written Exam (200 Marks)
• Mains Written Exam (600 Marks)
• Personality Test/ Interview (75 Marks)

Haryana Civil Services 2023 Exam Pattern:

• The Haryana PCS Preliminary Exam consists of two papers Objective type (multiple choice questions).
• The exam would be of a total of 200 marks.
• Paper-I comprising General Studies for 100 marks would be of 2 hours duration.
• Paper-II consists of an optional subject to be chosen from the list of 19 subjects, which would be 100 marks for 2 hours.
