Given below are the following requirements:

• The child should be 9 years or above in age

Grade V and Upwards:

Registration Form will be given to girls of Grade V-IX. They will also go through an admission test and will then invited to give the test in the month of November or January, as soon as the registration forms filled and submitted.

For Grade XI:

Prospective for Grade XI girls will be needed to submit for their Prelims results for seeking a provisional entry in the month of April. The admission will be confirmed after the results are announced in the month of June.

The child will be interviewed by senior members of the teaching staff.

All candidates will be provided with information about the dates for the Entrance Tests and will collect the syllabus and sample papers. Tests will be commenced in three subjects such as English, Mathematics & Hindi.

In case, a candidate fails to appear in the Entrance Test without prior info will lead to the lapse of the candidate’s registration and also the Registration Fee will be forfeited.

The Registration Fee will not be adjusted or refunded. Also, it is important to note that the Registration of a child does not mean the guarantee of her admission.

Selection Process:

• The results will be based on the merit and availability of the seats. The Admissions Committee will offer seats accordingly. The Admissions Committee will endow the right to reject any of the applications without explanation and that decision will be the final decision.

Hopetown Girls’ School Admission Process:

• Parents of the child need to confirm the acceptance of admission within ten days. The acceptance of the admission along with fee payment in accordance with the instructions mentioned in the letter of offer should be sent by email. In case the fee is not paid, the school will give the seat to the next candidate in the order of merit/position on the Waiting List. New entrants will join in the month of April.
• During admission, the candidate will send the set of Admissions Documents, allotted Admission Number and roll number given by the school.
• Make sure that Personal Data Form, Visitor’s List, Clothing List, Travel Instructions and Medical Certificate will be returned to the school office prior to you hand over the child to the House Mistress.

Hopetown Girls’ School Admission Fees:

Registration Fee Rs 15,000.00 needs to be paid along with the Registration Form.

Admission Fee Rs 75,000.00will be paid during the time of admission

Tuition Fee (Per Term) Rs 85,000.00 will be paid.

Make a payment of the fee via Demand Draft, RTGS / NEFT, Payment Gateway in favour of HOMETOWN GIRLS’ SCHOOL, payable at Dehradun.

Note:

• Cheques / Cash will not be accepted.
• Interest-Free Refundable Security Deposit (Equivalent to one Term’s Fee) should be Payable during the time of admission will be Rs 3,76,000.00
• The hostel Fee (per Term) will be Rs 2,91,000.00
• Fixed Subscription (per Term) will be Rs 4000.00
• School provides routine school medical check-ups. All expenses spent on medicines, specialist treatment, referrals, transport, etc will be included as extra charges.
• Imprest Deposit will be Rs 50,000.00
• Advance against expenses, viz. performing arts/ photography and other clubs/ other hobbies, school photographs/ DVDs/ CDs, extra coaching, uniforms, books/ stationery/ art & craft material/ fine-art material/ school publications, French classes, special learning classes, Model United Nations (MUN), IAYP, SUPW, counselling, workshops/ seminars, book fairs, tennis, extra / out of school sports, mid-term/ other outings/ picnics, school functions, birthday, farewell/ House parties, mattresses, bedcovers, toiletries, postage/telephone, xeroxing, Information Technology (IT), dry-cleaning, beautician, extra diet, pocket money/ tuck shop, late fee, escorted homeward/ school ward journey etc. will be adjusted against Imprest Deposit. Academic or other activities excluding regular curriculum and any other expenses will also be adjusted.
• Classes held during winter holidays for Board examinees are mandatory and will be charged extra. Board Examination expenses will be charged extra.
• The above fee is to be paid by DD, RTGS / NEFT, Payment Gateway in favour of HOPETOWN HOSTEL DIVISION, payable at DEHRADUN. Cheques/Cash will not be accepted.

Kindly Note:

• Fees will be increased every year by approximately 10% to 15%
• Please ensure that the DD is made out in the correct names.
• mention the Name and School number of your child on the backside of the Demand Draft.
• Please inform the accounts office of the UTR number and RTGS details/NEFT transfers.
• Expense bills will be raised twice a year. These need to be paid in order to replenish the Imprest Deposit.
