HP TET 2022: Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is the state-level examination conducted to recruit teachers on the primary and upper primary levels. The test aims at checking the eligibility of the candidates for the post of teachers in government schools located in Himachal Pradesh. This examination is commenced once a year. The paper will take place in two parts for two different categories of the applicants – one who is applying for classes I to V and others who have applied for classes VI to VIII.

HP TET 2022 Application Form:

The mode of application is online and you can acquire an official website, www.hpbose.org.

• A candidate needs to create their profile on the portal by using a valid e-mail address. Make sure to provide personal details.
• First, register yourself to avail unique user ID and password, then add elementary details asked in format, like Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Category, Email address, Contact number, Gender, Address, etc.
• After getting done with these details, click on the submit button, the next window will let you show the application number. Keep this application number safe to use during the sign-in process.
• Log in by using the application number, and date of birth and upload scanned copies of signature and photographs in jpg format.
• Make a payment of the application fee, via an online method such as debit card /credit card /net banking.
• After paying the application fee, take the printout of the confirmation page and slip of payment proof for further reference.

Application Fee:

General category candidates will pay Rs.800 and SC/ST/OBC/PHH category candidates will pay Rs.500.

HP TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

Before you apply, check the HP TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate’s age should be at least 18 years at the time of applying.
• Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Candidate must have a domicile of Himachal Pradesh for extra benefit.
• There will be a relaxation of 5% for those belonging to the reserved category in the qualifying examination and also in HP TET
• Those who are in their final year in the respected program can also apply for HP TET 2022.
• To apply for TGT (Arts), the candidate must have done B.A/B.Com with at least 50% marks with a 1-year B.Ed. Or else the candidate must have done class XII with at least 50% and a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.
• To apply for TGT (Non-Medical), a candidate must have B.Sc. (Non-Medical) with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. Or else class XII with a minimum of 50% and 4-year bachelor in Elementary Education or B.Sc.(N.M.Ed).
• To apply for TGT(Medical), a candidate must have successfully completed B.Sc.(Medical) with at least 50% marks with 1-year B.Ed. Or else class XII with at least 50% and a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education or B.Sc. (Medical Education).
• If you are interested for Language Teacher(Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi) , then you must have done Bachelor of Arts with Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi as an elective subject and 2-year diploma in elementary education/1 year B.Ed. M.A.(Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi) from some recognized university and 1-year B.Ed. or else Shastri with at least 50% marks from some recognized institution from H.P. government.
• If you are looking forward to applying for Junior-Basic Teacher, then it is important to get done with class XII with at least 50% marks and 2-year JBT certificate from a duly recognized awarding body or 1-year diploma in Elementary Education.

Exam Pattern:

• The examination will be conducted in the offline mode.
• The paper will have 150 objective-type questions.
• The Paper will be 150 marks.
• The exam duration will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• The candidate will be receiving1 one mark for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking.
• Paper 1 will be Child Development and Pedagogy with 30 questions for 30 marks.
• The language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Language II will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Mathematics will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Environmental Studies will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• 2 Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• The language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Language II will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
• Maths or Science (For Maths and Science Teachers) will have 60 questions for 60 marks.
• Social Science (For Social Science Teacher) will have 60 questions for 60 marks.

Syllabus:

• Language 1: Comprehension based question and concept for language development.
• Language 2(English): Comprehension-based question in English and Development of language.
• EVS: Air, Water, Parts of Body, Habitats, Natural Resources, Solar system, Food resources, and Care.
• Mathematics: Numbers, Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic, Mensuration, Shapes and Spatial Understanding.
• Child Development Pedagogy: Understanding children with special needs, Child development, the concept of Inclusive Education and Learning Pedagogy.

Admit Card:

• Download the admit card from the official website.
• Admit Card will be issued 15 days prior to the commencement of the examination.
• Make sure to avail of the print of the Admit card.
• Admit card will consist of details such as Roll number, and personal details of the candidate like name, Father’s Name, Date of Examination, Timings, and Venue of Examination.
• Admit card is a compulsory document that must be carried on the examination day.
• Candidates can download the Admit Card by entering the application number and date of birth.

Result:

The result of the examination will be announced after a few days the exam gets over. Ensure to check the result from the official website.
