Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate must have successfully completed class X/ XII /Degree /Diploma/M.Sc / B.Sc / ITI / BA

HPSSC Application Fee:

The recruitment fee for candidates belonging to the General /EWS category is Rs. 360/- and those who belong to OBC / BPL / Dependent / SC / ST / PWBD will be Rs. 200/- However, Female / ExSM applicants will be exempted from paying recruitment fees.

Steps to Apply Online:

• To apply for HPSSC 2023, click the official website link first.
• Begin with the registration process using the username and email ID
• After this, go to the Login Page.
• Fill the application form with details such as credentials, email address, phone number, Educational qualification info, etc.
• It is important to upload a signature, photograph in the required format.
• Upload the required certificates such as domicile certificates, educational certificates, caste certificate, etc.
• Make a payment of the application form and Submit.

Admit Card:

Admit card for HPSSC 2023is available via the official website. Given below are the steps to download the admit card:

1. Click on the official link www.hpsssb.hp.gov.in to download the Admit Card
2. Fill the User ID/ Registration Number and password/ Date of Birth to login
3. Now, download the Admit Card and take a print out of the same.

Note: Check all the details mentioned in the admit card. The admit card consisted of details such as Candidate’s Name, Roll Number, Date of Birth, Exam Date, Exam Timings, Reporting Time, Entry Closing Time, Candidate’s Photograph and Signature, Instructions, etc.

Exam Centre:

• Exam centre for the posts of Inspector Legal Metrology will be Hamirpur & Shimla
• Hamirpur for Driver, Assistant Mining Inspector, Motor Vehicle Inspector, Laboratory Assistant, and Laboratory Technician.
• Hamirpur, Mandi, Dharamshala, and Shimla for Junior Environmental Engineer.

Other Exam Centers include: Solan, Sundernagar, Palampur, Kangra, Nahan, Una, Chamba, Bilaspur, and Kullu

HPSSC Exam Pattern:

• The exam will be consisted of multiple-choice questions.
• The exam duration will be 02 hours for each paper.
• There will be two papers overall. General Studies (Paper 1) and Aptitude test (Paper 2)
• The entire paper will have 200 questions.
• The candidate will receive 2 marks for every correct answer.

HPSSC 2023 Exam Syllabus:

• Syllabus for Staff Nurse, Statistical Assistant, Sr. Laboratory Technician will be General Knowledge (about HP) Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logic, Social Science, General English & Hindi (till class Xth level)
• Syllabus for Steno-Typist will be General English (till class XIIth level) General Hindi (class Xth level) General Knowledge (including GK of HP), Everyday Science, Social Science, Current Affairs, and Logic. In addition to this, candidates will go through the SKILL test in shorthand (English or Hindi), Speed in Shorthand English 60 WPM, and Hindi 60WPM, Speed in typewriting English 25 WPM and Hindi 25WPM.
• Syllabus for Store Keeper, Auditor, Conductor, Civil Defence Instructor/Chief Instructor/Platoon Commander/Admin. Officer and Assistant Store Officer includes General English (till XIIth level) Hindi (till Xth level) General Knowledge (including GK of HP), Everyday Science, Social Science, Current Affairs, and Logic
• Syllabus for Clerk includes General English (till XIIth level) Hindi (till Xth level) General Knowledge (including GK of HP), Everyday Science, Social Science, Current Affairs, and Logic. In addition to this, there will be skill test (Computer typing) English 30 WPM or Hindi 25 WPM (for those who qualify objective type screening test)
• Syllabus for Junior Scale Stenographer includes Objective type screening test, General English (till XII level) Hindi (till X level)General Knowledge (including GK of HP), Everyday Science, Social Science, Current Affairs, and Logic. In addition to this, Skill test in shorthand (English or Hindi) Speed in Shorthand English 80 WPM Hindi 70 WPM. Speed in Typewriting English 40 WPM Hindi 30 WPM
• Syllabus for Accounts Clerk includes General English (XII level) Hindi (X level) General Knowledge (including GK of HP), Everyday Science, Social Science, Current Affairs, and Logic. Also, skill test (Computer typing) English 30 WPM or Hindi 25 WPM (for those who qualify objective type screening test)
