B.Pharm (4-years):
- To apply for the course, the applicant must have successfully cleared 10+2 examinations with subjects such as Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biology subjects attaining a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
- Applicant’s age should be 17 years before 31st December at the time of admission
For B.Pharm in Ayurveda:
In this course, the eligibility should be at least 10+2 examination from the recognized board with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects.
B.Pharm- Lateral Entry (3-Years):
To apply for this course, the candidate must have attained at least a diploma in pharmacy (D.Pharm) from some recognized institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.

HPTU B.Pharmacy 2022 Application Process:
The step by step process to apply for HPTU B. Pharmacy 2022 is mentioned below:
- Step#1– Registration: Go to the official website – www.himtu.ac.in and click on the registration link. The Account Registration Form will appear on the screen. Enter all the important information such as Name, User Name, and Password, date of birth, email id, and mobile number. After you fill the registration form, click on the “Create Account” button. A unique number will be sent to the applicant’s email ID for the verification process. It is suggested to applicants to write the application form number, username, and password for further reference.
- Step#2 – Login: Login again by entering a username, password and Application Form Number. After entering all these details, an Online Application Form will appear.
- Step#3 – Fill the Details: Applicants are required to provide the basic details such as Name, Father’s Name, Nationality, Sex, Mode of Admission (Normal/Lateral entry), Category (GEN/ SC/ ST/ OBC), Branch and Date of Birth, Corresponding Address and Permanent Address. Choose the Program on Basic Tab.
- Step#4 – Upload Photograph/Signatures: Upload your latest scanned photos and signature in the prescribed format. The photo and signature should be in .JPEG/.JPG format and the image size should at least 30 KB.
- Step # 5 – Confirmation: After filling in all the details in the application form, click the ‘Confirm’ button to submit the application form. In case, you feel like making editing in the information, click the “Edit” button and make the necessary changes.
- Step#6 – Payment: Submit the application fee using modes such as net banking/credit card/debit card.

- The exam will be commenced in the Offline mode
- There will be 150 Questions on paper
- Physics 50 Questions, Chemistry 50 Questions, Mathematics 50 Questions

Admit Card:
The first week of May is the time for the release of the admit card. During this duration, candidates can access the HPTU B. Pharmacy 2022 admit card or hall ticket. The admit card will be provided through online mode. Download the admit card by using login credentials. The admit card will be consisted of information such as exam date/time/venue. - Enter roll number and click on ‘Submit’ button

Merit List:
After the result declaration, the merit list will be released. Those who have names in the merit list will appear for counseling process further.
Counselling Process:
Selected candidates will choose the preferred college for admission. During the counseling process, the documents will be verified by the exam conducting authorities. The candidate should reach the counseling venue before time and report to the Admission Selection Committee. Candidates will be given the chance to select the seats and if applicants fail to appear in the counseling, then the seat will be given to the next candidate mentioned in the merit list.
After the counseling process comes to an end, the selection letter will be sent to the selected applicants. Candidates must report to the designated institute on or before the selection letter.
